I have been watching skateboarding for 44 years and this guy is one of my favorites of all time. His ollie variations are ridiculous. Smooth, precise, and so much control. 100% bad ass.
Jimmy make looks so easy but that in reality so technical, high, coping... that is not human maybe I am wrong but everything been recorded the same night... so you can add consistency..🙏
After breaking my ankle for the last time, I quit skating about 25 years ago; I was actually on the AM circuit. This was when vert was backseated for a while but I was never really a street skater. I've skated with and seen legends go straight bananas but few over the last decades *_get me_* like watching Jimmy Wilkins. His flow and style is just artistry in motion. *Sidenote* his mother was/is a ballerina; _prima,_ I think. Seeing his body and foot control, placement and patience throughout his ollies seems to suggest he learned a lot from her. *_Siiiick_*
This guy reminds me so much of Chris Miller. Super smooth, utilizing the whole ramp, technical lip stuff at speed without losing the line- it’s all there. The ollie variations in this guy’s arsenal are so high and so sick. Great stuff.
Thx for posting this comment. I was like, what am I watching... Boggles my mind. But if you add two notches of Hosoi to Chris Miller, that's this dude. Bigger, faster lip tricks, which allow for the bigger faster airs. Maybe facilities have developed to a point to where the likes of Chris Miller and Hosoi could do what they did in their prime so where they don't have to 'slow down' to do lip tricks?
Never mind all the great tricks, Jimmy, THAT HANG TIME, it's soulful, I could watch you all day.

Yup, definitely skating vert this week and I am going to watch this on repeat till I do.
