Do you think Mongol tower rush is still strong with the slight nerf to mongol khan, and more people adapting against the strategy?
If they defend well (killing your worker, etc) how much does it slow down your tech up to Castle Age, and how/if at all does your strategy in the mid game change compared to if you had just rushed castle (from Mongol perspective).

This works with any tower rush in Season 3/4?
Please show us how to defend longbow stone wall rush. They put long bows on stone walls for extra range and def, horsemen cannot touch them . Archers cannot beat them nothing in feudal can beat it. By the time you ram it down another one is ready. Stone walls are cheap
i think the trick is to scout, and if he is collecting a lot of stone you know he will go by 2 tc or wall stones / tower stone rush, also if he does this his base will be uncovered and he will not have many defenses. Destroy its economy like Beasty did. In closed maps everything is simpler because the stone walls are available at the II age while the palisades in the dark age, and therefore you have the possibility to close yourself before he enter in ur base

@@Tizonwar8 At least last patch, English are a standard civ in dark age. They only have weird things this patch with farms, but it delays their feudal. Aside from farms, they have no dark age eco bonus, so they have the most vanilla dark age.
Nice guide, I think a lot of people need this. Just a thought too, if playing against an early aggressive civ, would it be a good idea to get all initial vills on gold to get the collection for Age 2 done asap, then move them to safe sheep?
If you did that you wouldn't be able to produce constant workers
8 on food and 3-4 on gold is the fastest way already to get to feudal, more than that would mean you lack food.
@@BeastyqtSC2 ah fair enough, I was thinking of just getting your gold asap at the expense of a slightly later feudal. Just means of a tower is dropped there you don't care for a while!

If the English player is bad then yes but I have lost a lot of games to English.
Mass cavalry harassment and going fast castle will get you heavy infantry that can tank spears and longbow. Apply pressure with kulturai and the English will crumble

no
It is less that they build faster and more that they can use Oovoo to double produce stable units in feudal.
Same as others, video quality is low and cannot be adjusted. Sound is fine though
UA-cam had not yet processed the upload Beasty did when you viewed it. The way it works is Beasty uploaded a high quality master file of his video. UA-cam immediately produced and put online a low quality version and then proceed to hash out the other versions up to the maximum quality Beasty uploaded.
