Dwarf Garden Tortoises

These very rare garden tortoises are called ‘Western Dwarf Hermann’s.’
They were captive bred in the UK in summer 2023. The eggs were incubated at the higher end of the range for this species. This in reptile eggs, will generally produce females. Conversely the lower temperatures generally produce males and are in incubation for longer period of time.
Very easy to care for. Same requirements as all garden species of Tortoises. They require dry mild weather conditions. They can be accommodated indoors during Autumn and winter and will therefore continue to grow.
