Nice guide, it got me through the fight nicely. I just got my gold cape today. Managed to get it with ranged even, albeit a close call; time 5 mins 51 seconds. Set up I used was: SGB - P6 ruthless 1 and Af 4 Eq 2 Erethor's grimoire Ring of Death Cinderbane gloves Pernix - Top: Biting 4 crystal shield 1 and Relentless 5 crackling 4 - Bot: Invigorating 4 moblile and devoted 4 impatient 4 Ripper demon Incense sticks for weapon poison Weapon poison +++ Dark magic aura Vuln bombs
"I'm not good" -guy with maxed stats, zaros godsword, t99 overhead prayers, and a raids boss pet. :P I'm trying to analyze what you did differently, considering I barely beat him at all with a pack mammoth and tier 90 stuff. ZGS, t99 overheads, a steel titan with summoning potions for max damage (HOW THE HELL AREN'T YOU TAKING DAMAGE o_O he hits like a truck with TYPELESS damage and yet your prot from magic is making you invincible?) super sara brews for that bit of extra health, and tier 90 rather than tier 80 power armor.
It's a lot of micro managing. I'm using vamp scrim to heal, the magic prayer protects you from the purple rain, and you can side step the bombs and hand smash, I normally use full manual but for this fight I set it to revolution so I could focus on the mechanics. If you need help with anything else feel free to ask.
@@slowkill724 hey idk if u still reply but do u have any tips on how to survive the final phase when nomad goes berserk? i have real trouble at that part, i cant keep protect from melee on fast enough andd eat and its also even harder to avoid gielinor's attacks. the combination of that and nomad's insane accuracy always seems to kill me in the end ps i saw this other vid where this chad that did it "casually" in 4 mins, keybinded his two sources of non stat degrading food to his mouse and at the end, he just spammed the ever fk out of the mouse buttons and you see his cursor just go insane from him presumably clicking the extra buttons, is that recommended here? i rly am so bad at eoc hotkeys bro
@@Sarah_Kinz try it again with necromancy. t90 armour if you can. i got all the capes in 5 minutes. i thought my Blood Reaver would help but it didnt even do anything the entire fight yet i still won
I feel I should say that they do not. I pray deflect melee when fighting this boss and the raining mage attacks consistently deal 2,000 damage with and without deflect mage. These attacks also ignore the lucky perks. Gelinors hand attack however can be blocked with prayer and perks, which is why I personally use deflect melee on the off chance I forget to move out of the way.
hope youre still around and kicking. Necromancy made this childsplay

why do you pray mage?
The raining mage attacks are reduced by the protect mage pray.

The purple magic attacks that rain from above are reduced by protect magic and reduced to 1's if you use devotion just tested it.
ah thx, you are the one with the gold cape for a reason
