What I admire specifically is the fact that you spoke to her in a very low voice and softly, so as to not startle or frighten her. That is really necessary for healing when someone is that brittle and broken. Thank you. People with anxiety disorders and PTSD will tell you that loud sounds and surprises are really troublesome. Dogs heal faster than humans from these kinds of long duration trauma, which is good because dogs live shorter lives.
I was so stunned at the transformation. I had to go back to the beginning to make sure it was just the same dog! Amazing rescue! She deserves the best life ever.
Bless ALL RESCUERS !! May your lives be filled with love, joy, peace, health & prosperity!! To ANYONE who abuses, neglects or abandons any living being have your deeds return to you 10 fold for eternity!
Don't equalize humans and animals. Animals have to be treated well but God doesn't bless people for rescuing them. That's not how He's working on earth. And even though animal mistreatment is wrong, God doesn't punish people who mistreat animals the same way He punishes people who mistreat people. People and animals are not equal to Him.
@@Vaahteranlehti LOL!! You never know who you are talking to on the web. You assume you know my background (and you know the old saying about people who assume). How do you know that I do not know the Bible? If you want to know what God has to say about the treatment of animals then look at Proverbs 12:10 “A righteous man cares for the needs of his animals.” Deuteronomy 22:4 “ Godly people should care for their neighbors’ animals”. Or take a look at Exodus 23:4-5 “Godly people should care for their neighbors’ animals.” Look at Leviticus 25:6-7 “Animals have the right to rest.” Look at Deuteronomy 25:4 “Animals have the right ti eat their share of the harvest.” The Bible does not come out & say you will be blessed for taking care of animals, but it does say that God created all animals & He “blessed them and called them good.” So you think if God thought enough of his creations to bless them, then do you not think He looks favorably on those who protect &/or rescue his creations? The Bible says, God will restore his creatures from the bondage they experienced because of sin & one day they will be part of His restored perfect kingdom.” In your post you judged me by posting that I equate humans to animals. In Proverbs 12:10 it says that the compassion of the wicked is cruelty & that a righteous person knows the needs of their animals. The Bible clearly states that animals have the right to life & that humans have a moral duty to treat all animals with respect, report injustice against them & pursue justice for the animal world. No the Bible does not specifically state that the abuse of animals is a sin, but in Genesis, God saved just one human family, but he made sure to save two of every kind of animal/insect he created. Do you decide how much value God places on animals. He saved one human family, but made sure every species of the animal kingdom would survive the great flood. Looks to me like God viewed the animals were more valuable than an earth full of sinful humans. So if I find myself on a sinking ship & could only save a human or an animal, my choice will be the animal every single time, because in my 70 years of life I have found that animals are loyal, they give unconditional love & they are obedient. I cannot think of one human with those traits, can you?

The amount of poorly bred doodles there are is heartbreaking. People really just think about the appearance of a dog and not their quality of life or health and it’s really to sad to see as someone who has worked in vet med/rescue for years.

Glad to see Daisy coming out of her shell. I have a 3 year old Golden Doodle...such a loving, affectionate, curious, stubborn and playful dog...he has to say "hello" to everyone in the neighborhood during walks. He is great with kids, people and other dogs.
Wow! What a transformation! From a scared stiff creature, to a confident, happy girl. The the physical change was just as dramatic. Who knew there was a golden doodle hiding in there? From short and straight, to all those lovely curls! I wonder, was the fur issue from poor diet? Anyway, the future is as bright as gold, and as free and happy as her name, Daisy!
SilverAuntie, our puppy mill rescue poodle, Daisy, was shaved down because her hair was so long and matted it had to be shaved off. She looked like a little lamb. Maybe it was for this same reason for her Daisy.
