Mind blowing now never mind 1975 i was only eleven then ! Now at 56 ive watched don , rest in peace and ronnie , dad and his girl both enter tue record books (she at 310 mph i think) . What a legacy !
My dad Howie suffered a near-fatal crash that year and got a short ride in Emily Gillette’s ambulance in the background there. I was hoping to see some cameo footage of his ill-fated number 900 AA-F/L (B-BF/L by modern rules), but he lived for 35 more years thanks to the safety rules Thanks for some great footage Jinx from a NorCal LSR family member (sorry to be vague, anonymity is the prophylactic of the internet) but I always stop by the pits and say hi to Rick and Glenn and you all every year. Godspeed Don Vesco and Godspeed the Turbinator ❤️❤️❤️
Correct me if I misremember, but I think he told me he had to lean left to turn right and lean right to turn left... either that is true or he was just teasing an onlooker.

Fantastic film - and a fantastic achievement!
That was awesome, check out Dave Despain with hair and sideburns!
Who was that in the Ditto's shirt at the 6:13 mark. Looks familiar.

True, because lower than center of gravity.
When I go see my family in El Cajon Cementary. I always pass Don and as a racer myself pray for us all. My Hero. 1:03
