A Travel ban was imposed on all non-resident and non-Australian citizens coming into Australia from 9.00pm , Friday 20th March 2020. Only Australian citizens, permanent residents, New Zealand citizens who are normally resident in Australia and immediate family members of Australian citizens and permanent residents can enter Australia after this time. Hi Julie, I'm planning to go to Australia for university and work there as soon as i graduate medicine, and hence planning to get a resident return visa. I was a former PR; I lived in Australia from 2008 to 2010 (2 years) and studied there, had friends and everything and was a permanent resident with the subclass 121 visa (employer nomination scheme) from my dad who worked there. My visa was not cancelled and it is not on the list for ineligible visas for the resident return. I just wanted to know this is would be enough to be eligible for the subclass 155 or 157 visa and possibly get it? and thank you for your videos they are extremely helpful!

Do you have any update for me? My 489 was granted in January and planned to travel in March but couldn’t travel till now because of lockdown.

@@crazymelvin19 before the ceremony you must pass citizenship test. After you apply you can travel and come back if its not along time.

A 16 year old is required to apply on their own accord however won't be required to sit the citizenship test
