Thank you!!! I put in the practice time on this song decades ago. I had only been playing drums for two years when this album (and song) came out. I was obsessed with learning Tom Sawyer and all the other songs. It was a huge challenge for a rookie drummer but it helped push me to another skill level. I guess it's just muscle memory all these years later. Thanks again!!!

You started with this? I am going to go put my head in the oven then...it's over for me. Wow bro, seriously - this was outstanding. My first tune I could play through was some Eric Clapton early Ninties song called Pretending. About as basic as it gets. You should be in a Rush tribute. Great stuff.
Thank you. I may have overstated the description in this video. I started playing drums in June of 1979. This song wasn't released until 1981. So I had been playing drums for almost two years when I first played this song. From the first moment I started playing the drums I was drawn to progressive rock and fusion music. I think this helped me learn to play much quicker. Anyway, don't get discouraged. Just keep practicing and playing. You WILL get better and better the more you work at it. Thanks again!!!
My advise...keep the hat on you have more attitude when you wear it!! No seriously nice job keep em coming thats not an easy tune, I would have to spend some time in the wood shed to pull that one off.
Darrell Davis :-) Yes, the hat is a great cover for my advancing male pattern baldness. Maybe instead of a hat I should just wear a wig. ???? Thanks!!!

Whoa!!!!!! You are an amazing drummer Steve! Amazing
Thank you once again, Robin!
Very experienced 'technical ability' Steve. Great job on tackling what I understand is a difficult song to perform.
