However after 50 fell out with Jimmy Iovine and he no longer had the machine behind him like he used to and it’s clear his enemies could finally go back on top or rise. We saw this with Rick Ross, Khaled, French etc. None of them really mess with 50 at all and he was kind of shut out, he doesn’t even go to the whole Roc Nation Branches and kiss Jay’s ass like the rest do because he and the Unit had always stood alone and didn’t play the industry game of being everyone’s friend. It’s only now that new breed has come through that they mess with 50 heavy, Pop Smoke as an example and all the other young boys because they really grew up to his music or influenced by it more so than his enemies. Overall the fact that 50 could beef with so many people and still be relevant without so much support after the whole Dre/Em era is incredible. It’s only because through television and shows like Power that his impact on the culture is so big they can’t deny it but even now, how many awards has it won? They don’t want to fully give him his due because they don’t like him is what I mean, so you see the divide, 50 is always with the outcasts, underdogs or up and coming.
