- Glenn Robinson believes American Top Team tried to pull a fast one by having two fighters ready to step out at the weigh-ins despite the fact that the teams have to submit paperwork earlier in the day for which fighter will be selected. American Top Team owner Dan Lambert fires back by offering to grapple Robinson with one hand tied behind his back.

He did the right thing.. other guy clearly on steroids was challenging an guy he could easily defeat, thats a coward move and only done to inflate his ego.

@@elrifle24 In grappling you can heel hook, knee bar, arm bar, wrist lock, joint lock, choke and smother etc etc. How is that not a fight? You can break bones and tear ligaments. Do you think getting punched in the face is the only way you can cause damage?

Go to a boxing gym and tell guys who spar hard two times a week that a jiu jitsu match is a fight.

And btw I trained and competed in BJJ. Got to blue belt and was able to tap some purple belts. It’s a not a fight bro.. it’s ONE aspect of fighting. And plenty of jiu jitsu guys train only to feel like fighters without taking any brain damage. SOFT

Dan has integrity, self respect and honour; thus, he doesn't look for fame and will always stick by his guys. Glen uses the guys as a tool to better his ego, look how he reacts when one of the guy looses, no understanding or acceptance only rage and anger and he is up 100 points!!! This must have just been a stunt for the show, why the fuck would they make it look like that with Sabah having sunglasses and a hoodie (which is what a lot of other fighters wear when weighing in) then having a drink straight after the names were announced. Either ATT or the TUF producers definitely set this up.

@agl They had two guys on weight in case their picked fighter was injured. It wasn't like how Glen said. He wasn't going to have one fighter 1 come up if Glen chose fighter A, or have fighter 2 come for fighter B. He just had replacements in case the chosen one got injured

I know i'm a year late on this but no.
They had 2 fighters cut weight in the lead up but that morning they had to submit paperwork for the fighter they wanted representing them.
They could not switch fighters last minute like Glenn was accusing them of because the fighters were set in stone earlier that day.

im prolly naive but whats unethical about this? From the forefront it looks like they didnt know which fighter was gonna get picked so they made sure to have two fighters ready and on weight. Am i missing something?
i know im late but... it's kind of like match fixing. i'm assuming this format was put into use in order to make the fights at random so that you don't have a guy who's superior at one thing fight someone that you know can most likely beat the other guy style wise like having an olympic wrestler fight a boxer who never takes it to the ground.

Dan lambert said they submitted their fighter for weigh in officially with the state of Florida the morning of and per rules and that he has a backup on weight in case his number one option went down with injury illness etc before the paperwork is submitted

What the coach aaid was two guys were at weight in case either one was hurt leading up to weigh in. Aka that morning they made their pick as no one was hurt. It helps if your head isnt up your ass

He's accusing Dan of trying to have a ringer in case Gleen called a different person. The problem is you have to have your papers turned in to the Athletic Commission before weight in. So he thought Dan would pick a different guy at the weigh in and then turn in different papers after the fact, which you can't unless that fighter got hurt after weigh in.
Glenn would have won the grappling match and gone on to fight in a title fight against Bork Laser.
Everyones against Glenn, Dana included because he's tight with Dan. But if we're really being honest Glenn was right
