Farm Bliss at The Old Grove Farmstead in Lipa City, Batangas!

Let’s take a farm trip to a nature’s playground dubbed as the “Netherlands of Batangas” & sing “baa baa black sheep” nursery rhymes. Aside from being a popular performance & country-style events venue, the Old Grove Farmstead might very well be your kids’ favorite place to be as they can feed the sheep & ducks when they “went out one day, over the hill & far away.” We’ve been wanting Bianca to visit & experience a real, lively farm with livestock animals & here it is at the Old Grove Farmstead.
Aside from farm animals including fowls, birds & donkeys (they even have snakes & crocodiles so it’s like a mini-zoo here), the Old Grove features a swimming pool, a man-made lake, a hanging bridge, lush gardens, a children’s playground, a picturesque Dutch windmill & barn, duck pond & sheep range. The main office is inside this Instagram-worthy windmill. The red barn is where weddings & special occasion are being held. The farm also has a village for overnight stay accommodations.
The aesthestically-pleasing Old Grove Café serves your buffet meals in al-fresco dining. There’s also a wishing well nearby. If Holland is in your bucket list, then this might give you a snapshot of that much-fancied European vibe with its windmill & red barn. Besides, Bianca is ticking off her own bucket list here, that is, a memorable feeding encounter with her favorite farm animals.
Every nook & cranny in Old Grove Farmstead is charming including the restrooms. We’ve been to another famous farm here in Lipa City - The Farm at San Benito, an eco-luxury health & wellness resort. The best lomi houses in the province are here & just 2 weeks ago, we just had lunch at entrancing Casa Marikit. It’s the city that invites you to #EatPrayLove a.k.a Little Rome of the Philippines with its well-known churches Mt. Carmel & San Sebastian that we visited in our past local pilgrimages. You just gotta love this city!
The Old Grove Farmstead is located in Purok 5, U. Mojares Street, Barangay Lodlod, Lipa City, Batangas. You can choose with any of their farm visit packages with breakfast, lunch or dinner or a combination thereof (with weekends & holidays always pricier than weekdays & a non-refundable 50% downpayment to secure your reservation).
