Quick question, is it safe to assume that eventually we will be able to delete colors from the brand center? I went in to try this and I can add them but not remove them, only make not visible. Or is that because if it's removed and someone is using it, it'll break something?
This is great stuff. Hopefully you will provide some methods for showing the list of colours etc in the main site. I'm looking forward to how you handle docc templatrs and enable libraries created in BC to be set as Asset libraries without using code.
That's Viva Connections dashboard web part which is currently (December 2024) ONLY available in designated home site when Viva Connections is enabled. During 2025 Microsoft will release a new dashboard web part which will enable you to create dashboards in any SharePoint sites and you can select which cards are shown.
Please tell me that admins can override/block the site branding feature. The very LAST thing we want is for site owners to start adding their own weird and wacky color schemes!!!
This feature is not yet available and your feedback has definitely noted. We are aware of the required control and options on controlling the enterprise branding.
@@SimonJHudson Not enabling the Brand Centre means we don't have the option roll out our corporate font to our SharePoint sites. Corporate font = good. Wacky colour schemes bad.
Absolutely great to show that Microsoft products work on all browsers and we don’t force you to Microsoft specific tools. You choose your tools and devices, Microsoft products work in all of them.

what we need is :
customizable library and content types with managed metadata | multi language | location by default | logo by default , and so .....

If it's going to be an issue in the short term you have the option not to enable the Brand Centre features until MS provide additional control.

work for microsoft but use chrome broswer especially for demos rather than edge :-}
