HORRIBLE CHEST PAIN AND HE CAN'T STOP BARFING🤮

- Pink eyes, appendix, and Primary Children’s today. And i am a 🧟♀️ Haven’t been able to get much of anything done lately because Zander has been stressing me out. He was up at 4am in misery and unbearable pain in his chest, followed by painful vomiting. The kid hasn’t been able to eat in days and cannot afford to lose weight. I called the on call doc at 4am and they got us in at 1pm😵💫🙄 After blood work and a chest x ray, everything is looking normal-so that’s both reassuring and annoying because we can’t explain the horrible pain. Any air bubbles should be gone by now, he should be able to eat, but anytime he eats he says he feels like it’s stuck in his chest. They sent us home and I’m just hoping he turns a corner because this pain is as bad as the appendix pain. The doc told me that prior to covid, they kept all patients in the hospital whether it ruptured or not. But they stopped doing it during covid and now there is a lot of overlap and missed information and they said they’ve even taken out appendix’s when they were actually fine and it was a different problem. Doh! But tomorrow is Friday and hopefully a better day. For him, for me and for my pinkies. Niko is victim #3😞 Man we take our health for granted. While we were in the elevator, we saw a little bald boy in a wheelchair with a scar from the top of his back to the bottom of his skull and for just a minute, I’m pretty certain Zander’s pain disappeared while we looked at that brave little boy. So thankful for doctors and to live in a time where lives are saved everyday. Both physically and mentally. Haven’t even had a chance to promote my books for Mother’s Day but they sure are cute ones. I have had abdominal surgery like that (laproscopic). It takes the energy out of you. Poor Zander with all the throwing up had it even worse. Prayers he will recover more quickly. 🙏 ❤

I was surprised at how quickly they discharged him after his procedure. My friend had her appendix removed last year and she stayed in hospital for two day under healthcare worker's observation. And we are talking about a public hospital in a developing country (South Africa).

I’ve had several abdominal surgeries and gas x helps so much as well as the walking. That and passing gas and having bowel movements are the best to get rid of the gas in his system

Yes, walking will help move the air out. Also ask his doctor if he can try some Simithicone to help. Peppermint also helps.

Zander walking is the best medicine for getting rid of the air. I know that it does hurt so much I have had 5 stomach surgeries and it is not fun

I had the worst appendicitis story, almost killed me. The worst pain 3 surgeries later, is slow digestion (slow BM really basically had a compaction, but I have EDS so I basically gave birth to a brick, screaming pain and really fun how it messed up my colon!) . Wish I always had juice first day with soft foods, easily digestible foods. Your intestines tend to stop from the trauma. No dairy for at least a two months, I threw up a lot after each surgery. Maybe he needs antibiotics. Not to scare you, but mine was gangrene, they refused me antibiotics, and I got three large abscesses where they drug the appendix! Not fun! They also did a laproscopically, filled me with air, but again should not have, should have just cut me where the appy was and just taken it out, instead of dragging a dead, leaking appy across my female organs, intestines... Take his symptoms seriously and maybe get a CT if he's getting worse. I of course needed major open surgery just two weeks later, as long ad his appy wasn't serious, not gangrene or leaking, probably just suffering from temporary gastroparesis (I would say orgain shakes, smoothies, rice cakes and very very short walks).
Oh my goodness, I pray he will be ok. 🙏❤
My 17 y/o son had his appendix out on 4/25. He was in good pain for the first 2 days after.. by the 29th he was almost his normal self. Get well soon Xander
Oh. We rotated Tylenol and Motrin every 4 hours per doctor's suggestion

After i had my open heart surgery everything was ok the first few days until i was unable to breathe properly lying down which was when they found out i had water under my lungs then just like Zander when i ate it felt like the food was literally stuck in my chest and i was vomiting non-stop i couldn't keep anything down i even lost a good amount of weight because of that and they did a ECO and found out i had a Pericardial Effusion. This happened in 2023 last year when i was 13 yrs. I hope he has a speedy recovery and get well 😄😊
I had my gallbladder taken out last year and honestly the most painful part of it was the air. It traveled to my shoulders and was excruciating and I couldn’t take muscle relaxers because of other meds I am on.
Poor zander hope feels better.am on day 17 in hospital i missing my kids . I was in major car accident going on a child free vacation. I got awesome view from hospital window. I not sure when I be home.
Prays for Zander that he will heal soon n be back to himself! I really don’t think anything is seriously wrong. I just think that he had a very bad situation going on and that he is very sore. We luv u Zander. N Julie you are the best mom!!!!🌺😇❤️
My son had surgery on his arm and then a week later he got pneumonia from the surgery and had to be hospitalized for 4 more days

I think it’s quite harsh to say that a sick kid is stressing you out,.. yes it’s stressful but its not their fault and they can’t help getting sick!, you can say its been overwhelming but i don’t think you should word it that way.. i hope the kids get better!!
Julie has been right by his side and taking care of him so the word she used is just her telling us how she’s feeling with all the things going on right now. Actions speak louder than words. You picking a word she used to describe to the viewers how she’s telling is really ugly of you. She never said Zander is stressing her out she s feeling stressed so what ! That’s normal and she’s allowed to be honest how she’s feeling!

I was not intending to sound mean or anything.... of course its normal and she’s telling us how she’s feeling, but all I was saying is that it just seems quite harsh the way she had worded it..
