Did I miss something? If the only proven thing was an injection, you don't need surgery to prove you need an injection. That can be done with various scans.
Worked in billing and revenue cycle for 3 major MN healthcare systems for about 10 years. There are some injections that are classified as "surgical" such as ultrasound guided injectections etc.
How do we know JJ didn't just have a simple MRI to see how things looked vs orthoscopic surgery before the injection? Jeff, you may be over your head a bit....
Honestly, it seems like an MRI is a far more valuable tool to investigate what they need to do than an exploratory surgery. I think you're absolutely right that Judd is totally wrong.
I blame part of the wolves struggles on the KAT trade and disruption of team chemistry, and by extension I partially blame Mackey for pushing the need to trade KAT. Way to go Phil!!!
This is a segment that needs to actually have a medical professional give input. Lot of what Judd in particular and Doog have said is just wrong.. If it is a PRP treatment, that by itself should have very little concern. I just had prp - no Judd you do not have to get opened up… it’s guided purely by ultrasound. They probably saw a lot of inflammation and PRP is a great way to help the body heal itself. I just had it a month ago. And I’m betting it’s very common for many football players
Hey guys, I understand your concern for McCarthy and his recent injection or set back but I'm here to tell ya, don't worry guys. Take it from a guy who knows! I've had many tough, painful surgeries, scopes, injections on my knees, legs and back including replacements! JJ will be just fine. Most injections are a safety net to relieve inflammation and it's pretty normal after these kinds of surgeries. I'm 56 and had my first hip replacement at 34, had 4 more since then, but I can tell ya with confidence that JJ will recover with good results with rehab and proper medical care, which I'm quite confident he has the best of! So relax, I'm 99.9% sure he will be more than ready to go by training camp or even OTAS in the spring! Keep rocking, you guys are the best Vikings media on the web! 😎👍✌️
I am not a doctor but I have had infection in my leg for ten years and which later wears out the cartilage in between the knee cap which makes you get a knee replacement
If we have to consider Darnold again, what's the point. Hopefully JJ is ready to go, but if he can't for a few weeks, try to get by on defense and a low cost back up, not Sam.
You guys are acting like they did a total reconstruction of the knee. Also, is it me but wouldn't a team hiring Flores as head coach automatically nullify his lawsuit? Hard to say they won't hire you when they hire you.
You don't need to have a surgery to see if you need an injection,I just had it done in the doctor's office,he used an ultrasound to check it out,and to see the area that needed the injection!
NFC West is close too. Curious to see what happens in the NFC AFC is kind of a joke at this point with chiefs and ravens and bills I'm sick of seeing those teams
It’s called an MRI - as someone who has lived with knee issues for decades, I have never had to have a surgery for purposes of diagnosing and determining treatment
Absolutely wild that they're saying Sam Darnold shouldn't attempt to tackle a player after he gets picked. If he gave up and didn't put in any effort, they'd (rightfully) crucify him for it.
Once again hypocritical… Declan’s little blow up about ppl calling them out for making a mountain out of a mole hill and getting pissed is EXACTLY what you guys do to Timberwolves fans…
Lots of overreacting...prp injections are common post surgery and during rehab...
Great rant Decks !!! Perfectly said about our history !!!
And Doogs begins by interrupting Phil. Classic Doogs
He doesn't have podcast etiquette 😂😂😂
It's a TV thing. You get talked over if you don't speak up in that business.

Declan bringing that personality 🔥Keep that going!
Why am I not surprised Dookie doesnt know how to lift a chair up
In his defense, it's a lot of work interrupting people all the time.
how many lockers did doogie get stuffed in while in high school.
It’s still happening
I’m just saying, definitely more than one.
I don't know why ANYONE would want to be a head coach!!!!
I'm sure we can find some people in the comment section that will deliver a one liner for you Doogie!
Can you imagine placing your careers and a franchise on a guy who played 1/2 preseason game. Knee or not, we have and Vikings have, no idea.

It's funny that Jeff says lets be realistic here right after he's done talking about stuff he doesn't have a clue about.
ilove spirited respect for debate and opinions
Its crazy how high the expectations are on this guy like hes going to save the franchise
Declan is on fire 🔥 loving it Love the show boys
Declan with the drive-by comment on former Saints coach Dennis Allen {20:17} 💥
I blame part of the wolves struggles on the KAT trade and disruption of team chemistry, and by extension I partially blame Mackey for pushing the need to trade KAT. Way to go Phil!!!
*PANIC INTENSIFIES*
I’m all about daily purple , but Mr. Limpet is a tough listen .
Cheers 🥃
Umm it's Van Jinkles now...Get on board Bro!
Declan has a point!
We are ‘always almost good.’
listening to doogie constantly interrupt you guys is infuriating, you all have the patience of a saint
I feel like he pays them to come on. He’s the worst
I'd say Justin jefferson was something pretty good that happened to the Vikings.

In one of JJs interviews after he got back with the team he brought up that he would be ready to play be it next year…. Or in 2 years… makes ya wonder
Why is this any different than a QB having a knee repaired in college, and making a full recovery?
Pay Flores the same as KOC he'll never leave.
I stand with Declan.

Looks like the South has some bad records and shifty seasons compared to other divisions
gotta sell the jj to jj tees merch
Why does Doogie get so worked up every time Phil says "to all who celebrate." EVERY TIME. It's just a fun little quip.
Decklyn right on!
just let it flow doogie
NFC North is dominating
Joe flacco would be a great backup option
No on Joe
is this supposed to make it stronger
Obliviously it's going to be Aaron Rodgers to complete the cycle!
Prp injections are pretty much routine after a procedure
This is a nothing burger regarding McCarthy.
Unless it was Sharif Floyd's surgeon

Declan lost it at about the 6 min mark. That is how I feel too lol
NFC West is close too. Curious to see what happens in the NFC

truth
It’s called an MRI - as someone who has lived with knee issues for decades, I have never had to have a surgery for purposes of diagnosing and determining treatment
Darnolds probkems go deeper than a hand. Its higher up.
dont like lawyers love attorneys

That's how real football was played.
Now we get "no hitting allowed because lots of ppl are betting"
you may need to research this sponsor. holding channel back
Once again hypocritical… Declan’s little blow up about ppl calling them out for making a mountain out of a mole hill and getting pissed is EXACTLY what you guys do to Timberwolves fans…
I'm not going to feel good about his knee until he makes it though training camp and preseason.
Doogie, Koc your lying, love when Media blows a story out of proportion
Bridgewater was never a franchise QB
hey doogie
These 4 just love to hear themselves talk.
Doogie is so wishy washy all the time. Drives me NUTS.
i collect comic books
Scuse me
It's a shot into the space in the knee joint, guided with the use of ultrasound. No cutting.
jets need a solar blast
Sorry doogs Big 12 basketball is way better than Big ten basketball and it's not even close
Please stop fear mongering. Even if you’re trying to be comedic about it.
lawyers are shifty
trying to play hero ball trying to doit on his own
You all are ridiculous, stop you can do injections with an ultra sound.
I feel bad for doogs wife/husband. (Most likely husband) having to listen to his god awful voice 24-7
i haate lies
The knee injury shouldn’t affect JJ’s ability to do what he does best- hand the ball off.
lol prreach
Since Kwesi picked him JJ was bound to be a bust. This is just the beginning
It could be infected
Infection
Jj will never play a game in the nfl. The end!
Lets hope he recovers
Lets hope he doesn’t have an infection because they are hard to get rid of
Obviously you guys have never had an infection
First
Or is he never going to start a game in the nfl
Its not good
I’m calm
