Just flew mine last week, it was super twitchy even with the rates dialed down to 50%. Almost felt like one of the control surfaces was loose, but they werent. Also experienced left/right oscillation on the takeoff. Not thrilled considering there was nearly no wind.

What about grass field operations? That would be great. Would it be possible to add some spacers under the front LG, in order to give her a bit of AoA which would ease takeoff on grass?

FLYFANS…. Hmmmm. I like it. The Clint Eastwood movie about this jet was cool back in the day. Really nice to see companies stepping up and giving us something different. So refreshing to see. P.S. Looks like a very nice flier. Wouldn’t hurt to have a gyro for those flights when the wind is a factor. Love the lights too. 👍👍😊
just a $20 flight stabilisation system would make this fly so much nicer.. such a great plane but so horrible seeing it being thrown about in the wind.
@@MerryBoozerRC I didn think it had gyro. And Meant to ask if it was windy. Looks like plenty of power. Xfky motors? Was he using high rates? Flying level it looked great but banking it just looked very sensitive
To me it looked like it was flying twitchy more so than a 10pm cross wind would normally cause (didn’t have a gyro but was acting like the aileron gains were set too high). Odd.
That landing was pure adrenaline butter

its not twitchy but there was no gyro and a 10mph crosswind so i thought it looked good
