So I have a Roland and have the 1st option. Whats the best way to do a video + sound? Play the song and record and later use an iphone to film and merge both later?
Guess I'll just be using the straight to USB approach and use the sounds in Logic's drum kits .. ha ha .. I don't like any of these options. I would figure these V-Kits would come with some sort of software that we could use where stock plug-ins could be translated to midi somehow. meh .. oh well. Putting my kit together tomorrow .. hope I don't run into any major snags. Great drumming by the way... informative video.
Hell yeah! thanks for that tutorial man, hey when you were recording straight to DAW you were using pro tools right? I am helping out my 16 year old son with his recordings, we have used garageband for a while, but we are tired of it and now looking to use pro tools Artist edition, which version are you using?
Hey! I'm actually using Logic Pro. Which is Mac exclusive and the big brother to GarageBand. I used Pro Tools for 7 years but I can't recommend it anymore because of the pricing and financial maintenance of it. It's a great program though!
@@boydagust9179 no. Phantom power is for condesor microphones. If you're not getting any signal, make sure your volume is turned up, check to make sure your cable works, make sure your recorder is set up to record a line in feed. Try these
Excellent information! I appreciate that you shared this one! 🤙

I plug right in to focus. And record. What’s the best way to mix?
Helpful thank you🙏🙏🙏

Awesome!!
Ive got the tascam recorder. Can you tell me which connection did you plug it in from the back of module? How did you setup the recorder?
There's usually a few options. It may be Record Out, Left or Right Out, or Phones. And you just switch your tascam to record external mono.
