The MT-16 is more stable as it has a wider base! The MT-08 is best used as a tripod without the extension.

Awful tripod, it’s not steady on uneven ground because the housing in the centre is at the same level as the legs, the slightest knock on a desk sends feedback on your footage. Avoid, there’s better mini tripods.
