Everybody in the comments that are like “this is gonna be nothing like the book. I think that’s stupid” well guess what? Sometimes movies aren’t gonna be exactly like the book. Sometimes, it is nothing like the book. Like Coriline. I think it is going to be very interesting and cool. Tbh I think the movie is going to be better than the book (this is were you will dislike but I honestly dont care) so yeah. Don’t hate for something great. Ok I’ll stop.

I'm excited for this movie, but I have a feeling they are gonna change it up. I already see some differences (Not the change in ethnicity, I could care less about what the characters looked like.. it's not vital to the story) and I hope that by changing it up they aren't ruining the story. Their artistic choices may make it better or just as good, but I hope that it doesn't make it bad or illogical. I have always loved this book and am interested in going to see it. So don't let me down!
What is vital to the story is casting someone good to play Charles Wallace. And you know what? They did not. He may in fact demonstrate the worst acting I've ever seen in a wide release film. Yeah, yeah, "He's a kid." Okay, cast someone who is slightly older with more experience. When you have a main character that needs to have tremendous range and flip a switch in the blink of an eye, and that switch is paramount to the effectiveness of the finale? You NEED someone that can act. It would be hard to find a young kid that would do a good job in the role, but I'm confident they could. Look at the kids from Harry Potter. Barely any of them had any acting experience and they were all at least serviceable in their roles. They only got better as the series went on, too.
I'm not saying he won't get better, but ....just no. They needed to cast someone better. He was so bad. Same with the teen boy, who I also found to be horrid. But at least he was a secondary, maybe even tertiary, character that didn't ruin the emotional heft of certain scenes because of his lack of skill.

Wildlife 101 exactly, making meg seem like an intellect from the beginning is the wrong interpretation of her.. She learned everything with time in the book.. The movie doesn't show anything of that

I am kinda disappointed that it is nothing like the book but, its expected right? I mean every book that has been made into a movie is either missing something or it is missing everything. And to be honest, the best way for a story to be told is by reading the/a book.
Honestly, i think the movie might not capture as much as the book does. i haven't seen the movie yet, but there's alot of things that kinda threw me off. Im not hating the movie, honsetly i really want to seee it. !t looks amazing!

Every movie is suppose to be different than the book, they're not suppose to be the same, and they never are! So stop hatin! If you don't like the trailer then don't watch the movie!
