  • We finally made it back to Grenada after leaving Wind Therapy on the hard at Clark's Court Marina for 5 1/2 months. It was a great summer, and now it's time to get to work putting the boat back together so we can begin heading north.
Everything was in good order when we returned. No bad smells, no bugs, no mold, just lots of wrinkled clothes! Join us as we figure this whole thing out.

Hey guys! Welcome home! We'll the boat looks great. Adrienne what's in your hair? Looks like a chip clip. Oh you guys look so hot. Nice splash. See you next time.

Thanks! Adrienne has so much hair she uses these giant hair clips just to keep it out of her way. It takes her like an hour in the shower to wash it all 😜

Loved it. We will be hauling out in Granada this year. What yard did you use and would you recommend it? ANy specialty companies you would recommend or avoid?

Hi. We recommend Clarkes Court for the haul out and storing the boat. They did an excellent job. We used Jaco as our gardiennage (someone who watches your boat for you and acts as a project manager for any work you need) who is awesome. I can ping to you his contact info. John Fairweather from Bravo Marine is a fantastic mechanic who we totally trust. Driftwood can do almost any work you need on the boat. Turbulance is a great rigger. Sea Safety stored our dinghy in an air conditioned warehouse. And I’m sure there’s more I’m missing. Just reach out to us at our email and we can give you as much info as you want.

Just catching up after being immersed in all things holiday and love this look at this process. I am going to be in Grenada in a month for the ASA 103-104, 114 class so I can be a little closer to following in your footsteps one day with my wife. I really love everything you did with this boat and your attitude and aptitude are pretty on par with my own. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks Thomas and have a great time with your ASA class! We’re sure you guys will love it. Let us know how it goes. We did ours out of the USVI. The first night when we went to bed it was very hot (the captain wouldn’t turn on the air conditioner) and very dark and felt very cramped. I (Jeff) actually had a panic attack and could not sleep at all. So it wasn’t a very auspicious start! But it got much better from there. 😃

Ha! Not to make light of the panic attack, but that is one heck of a start. I have already chartered a 47 foot cat for 10 days and helped sail it, so I have stayed in cabins and lived aboard before. I didn't mind it and compare it to sleeping in our Airstream. I am pumped to get certified and then get some hours assisting others for a bit before bareboat attempts are made. Cheers!@@SailingWindTherapy
