Bernie has been disappointing so far. He has started the last 3 games for LCS? He can’t hold the ball, can’t run, can’t press and can’t head too. I’m not sure what he brings to the team other than his big physique. Still hoping he can bring value to LCS push in the league tho.
I genuinely feel he’s not the profile of forward that is suited for LCS or SPL. Like Kim Shin Wook, they were struggling to create the chances for him. At times they were even forcing chances for KSW. I may be wrong, but genuinely confused as to why Ibini was brought in
@@shinzjl no choice they needed to find a center forward somewhere... i guess he was the best they could find at that point in time and is available to buy within their budget for a foreign import
Huge character from LCS to come back after going 0-2 down against a team that had conceded only 3 goals in 9 games. And then to score 3 goals against them in one half!!! There was some real heroics from Sailors defenders too... a crucial saving tackle at end of 1H and then clearance off the line in the second. Not sure who were the defenders involved but mad props to them. Great job also to the LCS fans for showing up and getting behind the team!! I arrived 10 minutes late and there was still a long queue at the ticket office!
I felt that LCS always had a lightweight central midfield, but for this match, their midfield duo of Hami and Adam rly made their presence felt. They had to run twice the distance of their team mates and always reach on-time to pressure and distribute the ball. And they did it with aplomb so that their team mates can focus on their duties. Kudos to them👏 I thought that LCS would've scraped this is they were to win it, but It felt more like LCS could've scored anytime they wanted to in the 2Half. Fantastic match-up!
Ref this game was so horrible really, giving yellow cards to LCS but not to albirex. absolutely ridiculous decision . ref needs to open his big eyes , walau obvious foul push and no card given? even push in the penalty box no pen given? VAR, linesman all useless never open their big eyes so god damn useless, bloody hell dont let jansen foo ref ever again lah really, but overall congrats to sailors for winning . unbeliveable ref .
