Sir i m from mnlu aurangabad. Our first batch has around 12 people placed and most have been placed in good firms like j sagar associates, barucha barucha etc.

I got general rank 3000 , and I didn't take councelling.
If I had any reservation, I could have got a decent NLU.
I am from UP and there is no state domicile reservation.
I am fed up with NLUs having hefty amounts of reservation in name of EWS , OBC , SEBC , SC / ST , Women reservation, State domicile etc
I am a general category male student so no benefit for me. Only 1400 seats are there for a male student from general category.
Almost 65000 students participated in Clat and I did better than 62000 students but still no luck.
I am so sad , I don't know what to do. I am depressed and on top of it there's pressure on me from my family and relatived to always perform better coz in my long chain of relatives someone is always performing better than me.
Hi Shashank, I understand where you are coming from and what you feel at this moment. However, we also have to understand that we know about this scenario beforehand, right? We need to start understanding our mistakes in preparation and maybe try again to make it happen for us. Getting depressed and blaming the system won’t do us any good.

Sir, i am from national law University, Mumbai and our fees is 2,12,000 ruppes, and even though we don't have our own campus, since it's in hiranandani Powai therefore the location adv is actually there. And the vibrancy of being near iit Bombay really helps. We also have some of best rankers, where in the 2020 batch AIR 4, decided to come to our college and in the 2021 batch the cutoff ended at 455. Putting our college ranking under likes of odisha and hnlu shows utmost amount of ignorance on your side. I feel you should research better before influencing the decision of upcoming law aspirants.

Hi Arjun, I absolutely get where you are coming from and do not deny what you are saying. However, keeping NLUO over MNLU was for the reason that MNLU does not have the kind of alumni base that NLUO possesses. Getting internships, and placements (which is the ultimate aim of most of the students) gets easier with an alumni base.
Also, we can’t discount the importance of a campus and hostel life in development of a student.
Having said that, I’d be happy to see MNLU grow further and take advantage of its location in internships and placements. All the best :)

Sir i have a doubt I accidentally applied my resident status as PIO and now my score card is also showing nri rank but I don't want to claim it I just want to get thru my AIR rank so will there be an issue for this I already talked with consortium and they said it'll depend on the alloted seat you'll get in any nlu. Will they disqualify me for this? Will I be removed from the counseling process????? Pls reply sir
Don't worry nothing like that will happen. That NRI category is just an option, if you want a college just through your All India Rank then you can get it without any problem (assuming that you're AIR is good enough for that particular NLU ofc)

@@aarohieekka7324 If you're a resident of India then you'll be fine. If you yourself are an NRI and do not have Indian citizenship, then they will only admit you through NRI category. The consortium doesn't facilitate the NRI process as it is. Students who want admission through NRI category will have to contact that respective NLU seperately. So in counselling you will get a seat through your All India Rank only with 0 objections from there side, don't worry.

Im comfortable with all the sections in clat, except quantitative aptitude. I'm unable to solve those maths questions in clat model papers,mock tests,and sample papers. Im not even able to interprete those questions .Do you have any solution for this??

Don't skip this, watch this properly. This will prepare you for even hard maths sections.
I would suggest you practice bro bcoz imo quant is the deciding factor
Learn these main topics from ADDA 247 channel - Percentage, ratio , average, simple interest and compound interest, profit loss and partnership.
Then watch Oliveboard DI complete video(it's a 10hrs video )
Them practice Data Interpretation daily from BSC publication book.
Believe me, this will help you score at least 7-8 marks in Quant. And try to increase your reading speed so that you can save 15-20 minutes for quant in mocks. DON'T EVER LEAVE QUANT. Those 4-5 marks can make a difference of 50-100 ranks.

@@SahilSingh-kd2tv I also prepared myself without any coaching, so I used to refer to telegram for any material. I practiced lots of mocks for RCs. Plus i read the Hindu editorials and The Indian express editorials daily. For Logical, I referred to Smriti Rastogi Mam's videos and Khan academy lessons for LSAT and practiced CR from GMAT club forum

That's not possible. Once you get an NLU which is ranked higher in your preference list, you cannot go for a lower NLU.

Please recheck the fee component of different NLU's. NALSAR has a fees of approximately 2.92 lakhs and NUJS has a fees of approximately 2.96 lakhs. Whereas NLUD has a comparatively low fees of 2.28 lakhs per annum including hostel and mess. So please try to correct them. I respect your opinion but as a person who chose NLUD over NUJS, I don't get ur idea of placing NUJS/NLUJ over NLUD when NLUD has been consistently ranked 2nd in various rankings including NIRF.
NIRF has JMI at number 3, IIT Kharagpur’s law course in Top-5. NIRF ranking is not a reliable source for law schools atleast.
Both NLUJ and NUJS have far better placements than NLUD.
How is the Faculty at NUJS? I have heard that there are some admin problems in NUJS, is it true?

Both of them are really good.. In Mumbai, GLC is located in Churchgate (South Mumbai) where u will have all the law firms and the headquarters of most Indian listed companies.. Coupled with the fact that there is no attendance requirement at GLC, u can intern round the year....
ILS has a 75% attendance rule. . But it is a very good clg in terms of academics and moots and placements as well

I'm getting a rank of about 1300. I'm told that I might get NLUO in the 5th merit list or vacancies. Tbh I didn't really prepare for clat AT ALL other than giving a few mock tests. My question is, should I take NLUO if I get it or should I take a drop year and give clat again on December? Also, thank you for this video sir it really bought a few things in perspective for me.
If financially possible, i would recommend taking admission into nluo and preparing for next years clat.
I feel you are capable enough to get into top tier if you go for December attempt. Going for attempt along with college is a choice that I made which I still regret about. All the best. Hope to see you in top tankers in next rank list.
In your case, unlike a normal drop year of 1 year, yours is only 6 months. Since even you are aware that you didn't try properly, I'd say you try again in December. Properly.

Like, I believe in myself and all but I don't want to give Clat 2023 only to get an even lower rank due to the so called uncertainty of this paper. Or is that just something that people say to justify their failure?

Placements are not impossible but they are not all that impressive.
It's increasing tho gradually last year there was a increase...AVG offer goes up to 10 l and the highest was 18 l/a
