No. Liz has a card dedicated to the shield, kings shield is a passive on top of two damage cards and it already makes you immune to dubuff attack cards
@@Somulate not really. again, a strong shield takes little damage from triple crit chance cards. it only makes a difference when you crit on a card that has a damage multiplier like flood and even then, if you don’t crit the card still is most likely to break the shield, hence still proving my part that crits doesn’t matter. the only reason it’s not an issue these days is cuz king got power creep not only does king doesn’t to that much damage to create a strong shield, but majority of new units can easily break his shield anyways

The strongest counter to the shield are basically attacks that do additional damage without depending on the card effect to do extra damage. Two competent units with such a passive damage addition are Diane and Naofumi.
In fact when I was prepping for GW, both Diane attacks at high potential and Naofumi AoEs with several stacks wipe through the shield.

Dude I've seen this Liz tank a 6/6 escanor ultimate. There's definitely something going on with her. It only did like 25% damage if that. And she had no Shield
Easy she revived herself with her pasive Escanor 1hit Ko her and the pasive revives you with the health you had before you died that is the explanation

Crits are so important in this game that it's shocking to remember that's GLiz's shield just negates them 100%
Like we have recent units that lower crit chance/damage and they are good because of a 20% decrease but Liz is 100% and extra health with no secondary effect

Her shield has always been amazing, on paper, but it's been powercrept more than King's shield.
Why do u hate her?
I don’t have Reinhardt so instead for pvp I use Ult Escanor, Purgatory Ban (at 6/6 w/ red Tamriel link), and Liz (goddes blue at 6/6) and it works really well. I just through a shield up first turn and ult rush ban so they are forced to target him but won’t kill him. Then if I get his ult it’s most likely game over cause of the amount of hp he has and the shield. Escanor is just there to be imtimidating and my last support if ban does die which usually never happens. And I also have ban’s relic so..

I have been using Purg Meli, red gowther, her and Holy flame Esca in the back but perhaps I light change him out but anyway. That team has really helped me in pvp altohugh I might just have been facing bots. I have been using dodge food as well which just works well

Should've make card that combine rupture with weak point tho, like 2x damage if enemy have buffs and 3x damage if the enemy have debuffs or just 2,5x damages to any kind of buff or debuff
I got her a while back and have been meaning to max her out but didn’t get the materials to but I should probably grind her up
Goddess Liz is making this Meta so much harder to play, since her shield indeed hampers many teams, but the most frustrating units in the meta - Purgatory Meliodas and The One Ultimate - don't care for the shield, since a big amount of their damage just comes from raw Attack stats and thus leads to an insane basedamage which don't get reduced by the shield. With Meliodas getting the 50 % regularly and Escanor getting 30 % when he dies, they shred through the shield without a problem, if the player knows, what they are doing, which this video kinda proved. So in the end, Liz is only making it harder for those who still try to play without Meliodas and Escanor, which is already hard enough. I agree with old units being playable is a good thing, but here, Liz is cockblocking pretty much everyone, except Meliodas and Escanor, which are the biggest problems anyway. But stuff like that is, why I said, that Margret becomes a more important Link character. Getting 5 % Attack for each Buff and Stance is so strong with units like Goddess Liz or Festival Diane or Nanashi or Naofumi. I think, she surpassed Red Sariel in the current Meta for raw damage in many matches. That's why I was kinda upset to see Festival Diane being in the Meliodas banner, considered she will be on every Deadly Sin Festival Banner this year anyway or at least part of the coinshop and you literally only need her 1/6, while you lose so much CP with a 1/6 Margret as Association, even though her Grace is great.
And I have to admit, I wasn't a big fan of the Escanor outfit, when I saw it in the patchnotes, but to be honest, I love the bunny ears and the bunny tail.

@@eeveemaster5794 Yeah, I might have been a little bit too critical, but on the other hand, casting the shield also costs you an action, that could possibly wipe the enemy team. Of course, the shield works at all and it still helps to survive against them. So the point of Nagato stands, but yeah, I see a more frustrating experience for the rapidly shrinking amount of players who try to fight against the Meta forced upon us. It just doesn't work extremely well against demons, Escanor or Attackseal, but it still may help some people to enjoy a few matches.
