The small wheel on the mid-life looks a bit odd but I guess they are practical. A lad I knew used to say they were trainer wheels, when he got used to the truck, they would take them off😂. Nice XF! I drive the CF with the dolly wheels doing tanker work. I have to say you can get into much tighter spaces than anything else without the full-size extra axel. Plus it’s like a nightclub at 3am inside with the sound system.
I’ve got the exact same truck almost. The tanks are a lot bigger than you think. If you look at the top of them it’s stamped in it. Small one is 325 and large one is 700 will take a while for you to get used to gauge as it runs from big tank then levels out

Can't fault the daf . As you say 15k is trailer. Truck with out a trailer ain't much use . But them pram wheels should be band. Mid lift twin Stear . I do tesco work with zellwood no dramas with a mud lift. And as you know some of the fun places tesco send you. Stay safe buddy and every one moving freight lets get home safe to the family

The best thing about a DAF SSC is when they are parked up, you can’t beat them! But when you are paid to drive a truck, the Swedes are years ahead, I swapped a 68 plate SSC for a 69 plate Volvo FH4, no regrets whatsoever!

D a f is cheap for a reason poor build quality shit engine don’t do hills handling poor. Oh yep got a big bed get fed up of d a f boys slaying my 650 v8 but once of boat don’t see them again

The coolest feature on them dafs is the fact they have a pull chain for the air horns!! (Yes I know I'm a big child)
