- We have a blast with our guests tonight playing some fun KISS trivia with prizes to top players! Play along at home and let us know how you did!
The Contrarians is a show where one of us jumps in the hot seat picks a dark horse album from a band as that band's best album. The guest host will argue against them with facts, stats and all around truth, subjective and objective!

My wife and I attended the opening night premier of the KISS "Detroit Rock City" movie in Toronto in 1999. The organizers held a KISS trivia contest (with rather serious prizes) before the movie started and once the theatre was full. When the trivia started I naturally began answering every single question correctly. When the trivia contest was almost 10 questions deep, I was asked to give other audience members a chance to win some prizes. Yet, nobody thereafter could answer any one of the questions correctly.
This show is cool as the trivia is highly thought-provoking for those of us locked in the KISS universe.
Dr. Fukk! 🤘
Love it! I had a lot of fun, really! I have a few suggestions to improve the game/show, as well as some other bands suggestions (although Kiss has enough material for other episodes), but I think that everybody involved has some too, so let them be heard. Keep doing it. At least one a month.
Thanks for the suggestion! we actually do these once a month on Patreon but we dont upload them to youtube to not embarass anyone who plays, honestly these are like funnest things we do
Like so many that came before me, KISS was my first live show. Hot in the Shade tour. Not their best album, but they were firing on all cylinders. Paul sounded great.
That WAS an awesome tour! That lineup was at its best, performance-wise. The set list was probably one of the best the band would ever put together. Even the stage production was top tier, as per usual.
The basic facts category had the hardest questions. Very ironic.
haha ya figures!
Tim is correct about Genesis and Buddha Records. For a time in the 1970's Buddha had the US distribution rights to the Charisma Records catalog. There are copies of the Genesis albums Nursery Cryme and Foxtrot that came out on Buddha. I believe they had the Charisma "Mad Hatter" labels on them, but also had Buddha Records listed.
You're the man Todd!!
MARCO/ and Co - tremendous show. Although KISS , was my first group I got into and first concert 12-16-7️⃣7️⃣- MADISON square GARDEN NYC/ I did fairly good, but definitely got some wrong. 👍💯
thank you!!!
Great episode!
What is “I me noose”?
cool game!
What is F?
lol…it’s the Hollywood Squares
The close up of Pauls chest hair made me want to vomit
😂😂😂
That was so funny. Everyone else was their head of hair and here comes Paul and it’s his chest. Classic.
@@ButchArgus i was dying for someone to pick "whose hair" lol
@@ButchArgus lol 🤢🤢🤢
Nice, that was fun! I have to admit that I knew maybe 60% at most, a bit embarrassing for a hardcore fan ^^
lol I probably wouldn’t have got 50%and I would have said I was hardcore fan!
