When winter started, I went up the mountain with my friends to pick some persimmons.
Thinking of hanging it into dried persimmons, waiting for it to hang with hoarfrost,
Chinese New Year is not far away!
I prepared some others: grapefruit, oranges, canned food, peanuts and melon seeds, snowflakes crisp...
Winter is leaving and spring is coming, a new year beginning.
I hope everyone's life will be better and better.

想著吊成柿餅，等它掛上白霜的時候
離過年的日子也就不遠啦！
又準備了些，柚子，桔子，罐頭，花生瓜子，雪花酥

I do not find these videos the same as those of Liziqi and the clothes could not be more different, being modern clothes from ordinary clothing stores. Liziqi's movies are so often about art or crafts, and her aesthetic sense is that of an artist. I watch her to marvel at her mind blowing crafting skill and perfectionism. Liziqi has inspired many vloggers, and I feel that what looks like imitation may just be a similarity of environment, traditional music, common materials, gardening methods and traditional recipes and kitchens, perhaps they only look similar to a foreign eye. What I love about these videos here by Ermi Chuiyan is the lack of obsessive perfection, the earthy quality, the informality, the friendliness, the actors' natural unstudied charm, the urban environment, and I think though Liziqi may have inspired her to think she could do this too, she definitely has her own voice, and she will show the same aspects of Chinese cuisine in very different ways. She's also an expert cook and her deft handwork is beautiful to see.
