I grew up here. I remember my cousins friends family's house boat was so big they rebuilt the dock for it. I had never seen a home so nice let alone a boat! At 12yrs old my mind was blown! That hill always scared me driving down! I remember hearing stories of the semi and houseboat that crashed into the water or dock? Good times here! So many amazing memories! This was early 90s.
