Great job Sim! I have a question: why don't you use "Preserve other end / Continuity"? Is there some particular reason? Thanks a lot

Hi Carl, the 'Preserve other end' is used to control the continuity on the other side of the surface. If it is set to 'position', the only condition is that the other end will not move away. If we have another surface on the other side and it needs to be nicely matched as well, we can use the 'Curvature' option. But additional control points might be added by Rhino to constrain that.
      Cheers.

Hi Sim, me again! Why is it often impossible to join the surfaces after matching? Sometimes it works if you change degree, sometimes not...
    I don't figure it out...
    Thanks a lot

Hmm... perhaps got to check if they are gaps between the match. Change Degree is just one aspect of matching. Got to check if there are also enough control points on the side to be matched as well. Perhaps you can try, exploring insertknot / removeknot to control the control points distribution without changing the surface profiles too much.
