If you read 'The Plan' by Lyn-Genet Recitas I promise you won't regret it. It was a game changer for me. Countless, "oh that makes so much sense" type moments. All about the reactivity of specific foods. The right food is not only about nutrition. Reactive means inflammation, and inflammation means weight gain and symptoms of any predispositions. Green beans for example, delicious and nutritious but often an instigator. Definitely for me but everyone's different. Take the time to at least have a look and good luck.
A little trick if you want to make the new wood look like the old grey wood (sun bleached) take a large jar put a wade of fine steel wool put it in and fill it with vinegar wait a day or two till the steel wool is melted then just paint that or spray it on the wood keep it mixed it wants to settle very fast so constantly keep mixing it and it will change to grey right before your eyes but after a few days of sun it will look really good

I love your homestead and all your family. Was thinking about the lower entrance board in chicken run. What about a hinge on the side toward the street, where board could lift up, like a parking garage gate, and drop when finished?

I know you guys have/had an Instant Pot. Why don't you use that to make yogurt. I've done it and it came out quite good and I didn't have to pre heat the milk.
