Hi, we use a sealant (b5000 or b7000). I have doubt about any tapes.
I did this replacement but after turning on the phone. The backlight comes on but nothing is displayed on the screen. If I touch it I can feel the vibration and the sound response. Just no display. I tried the previous screen( which was working) and its the same thing.

Hi, if you buy the display module with a frame, then the model (which you want to buy) should have the same SIM holder quantity. Because the frames with one and two SIM holders have a different form inside. I don't see any difference between display modules of Honor 7X BND-L21 or BND-AL10

Hi, in this case, what we usually do? Okay, at first I would disassemble this part, investigate all inside, inspect the connectors and assemble it back. Or, change the display.

So after being dried out, my screen still has touch issues after being dropped in some water, will replacing the screen resolved that issue?
Hi, has the phone been in repair? What do you mean "dried"? About the issues, it depends on the issues.
@@Vrm24com the phone was in a bag of rice to dry it out and it works fine for the most part so it has not been in repair and the screen touch stops working sometimes but then randomly starts working again
Okay, I got it. What you can do or go to a service center and they will do it. Disassemble the phone and clean up PCB, FFC (flexible flat cables) from oxidation and test the touchscreen again. If it won't work you need to replace the display module. If it will do in SC, they can say does this replacement resolve the problem or not, or need to detect the issues on the PCB.
