Imagine props like this used for movies. You don't need an entire animatronic, just an articulated mask. Gives me Neverending Story vibes! It's so cool 😭😭😭
Honestly if we're going for full wolf head style werewolves, I prefer a larger body. If we're going wolfman style then obviously fully practical effects with make-up and prosthetics. Something about a full wolf head but regular human body doesn't sell monstrous murder machine for me. It almost feels like a person in a costume like a fursuit rather than a hellish hound of the night. Though the rare hybrid of snout but more fleshy and humanoid than canine is delightfully creepy and unhinged to look at but not as liked or used. But that's just my personal taste. Either way, op is impressive for this.
@@Cjoudan I am in no way implying practical effects shouldn't be used on werewolves. Practical effects are what should be primarily used for werewolves. Just stating I prefer either hulked bodies or, honestly much prefer, unnaturally long arms, legs, and torso. Which are harder to do with a person simply wearing a mask and human sized costume. Need to add stuff like limb extensions, stilts, etc. But that's just my personal taste on werewolves I prefer, not a demand of how things must be. Get creative with your monsters, always. Go big or go home. And clearly the mask maker in this video went bigger than big.

Bruh. Almost exactly the kinda thing I’d love to have. Biggest differences between this and my dream head would be to have it smaller and more seamless, and also display a wide display of emotions and mouth movements if I speak through it. Unsure how much of that would be animatronic though
Awesome mask! You did a wonderful job on it. It's so cool that it reminds me of the werewolves from the 2004 movie Van Helsing with Hugh Jackman. It's like you made the digital wolves become real.
