WOW. There was a semi-dark movie about these abilities which frames "AUTISM" in a light showing its raw power. It's called "THE ACCOUNTANT." Starring Ben Affleck (An actor I don't like at all, however he was very good in this movie, I say in spite of myself). Your example with your boy, shows HIS POWER to connect strangers together in a most wonderous way that this cold, cruel world desperately needs! It sounds like you've experienced some examples of the world's coldness with Sammy, but alas this was a shining beacon of an example where he has real and tangible power to connect folks.
