Here is WHY I am taking up this opportunity to stand a chance to win the two AMARAN PT1c lights. They are so versatile and I can imagine doing so many amazing projects with it.
I am from a small but beautiful country in Africa, called Namibia🇳🇦. And sometimes I do feel a little underwhelmed because of the limited/inaccessible resources to creatives that are as young as me and not having the necessary gear to fully explore my imagination or project ideas. However, doesn't stop me from using what I have and making it worth it.
In the landscape of Namibia, as a small-scale creative/photographer, this isn't just about acquiring equipment- I take it as a transformative opportunity and one to also help me start building a diverse portfolio.
Amidst limited and mostly inaccessible resources, I've always just been limited to using natural light or trying to find new ways to create ideas I may have for low light projects. So, this prize becomes a beacon, empowering me to redefine possibilities, to express my authenticity, and contribute to the unique tapestry of creativity in Namibia and possibly around the world too.
It's not just about brightness; it's about elevating my craft and sparking a journey that transcends borders I could ever imagine. I am embracing this opportunity because it allows me to learn more on professional lighting, to experiment, and create a new spark that ignites in my creative journey.
And possibly this inspires other young adults and teens throughout my country and around the world to take a chance and follow their creative dreams🥺💗

The Why: California makes it so hard to afford and gear, but I've always put so much into my very tiny media business to show my daughter that you can do anything you put your mind to without a college degree. She's only 2, but one day i know she'll see all the hard work Ive put inaince 17. Lighting is the one key thing im missing, but im also missing the drip😂, A sweater would be fire and plus, I think supporting creatives that have helped you grow in life & business is always a dub. Why: Content creation is the thing that energizes and inspires me most and one of the biggest things not in my gear set up is a main light to get great talking head shots!

WHY: the last couple of years I’ve been using videography & photography as my creative outlet and it’s been an amazing experience. Now I’m in the process of building my home studio to create content and start building clientele. These lights would be such a blessing! Because of your videos & since following you I’ve learned so much about lighting and this is one of the steps for me to reach the next level. I have rigged things with what I can afford but having access to lights to this caliber will help me step up my game even more. Just lately I found out how lightning makes a great impact on videos. These lights will help me experiment with lighting and eventually help create better content.

But honestly these lights would be a massive bonus to my content given that I create most of my content in a relatively small office/studio space having high quality lights to better light the area would make a difference to the new style creative look I am trying to make once my office redesign is complete.

These lights will definitely help me because last year in August I got evicted from my apartment and most of the lighting was destroyed. Although most of my gear was damaged I have one strobe left and a soft box. I want to continue to give quality work to my clients and this would be amazing to add to my gear setup.

This is the year where I start UA-cam! I currently just borrow here and there as well as rent. Trying to lock down more clients without having to take away from what I can put in pocket. I want to add to my lighting setup which is just one 60Watt light for a key. I need more but don’t have it in the budget for right now. Hi Ryan, I am an automotive light painter, having these lights would allow me to shoot all kinds of creative concepts! It will allow me to use the lights not only to light subjects but also be practical effects in some of the shots. Having a black hoodie would also be clutch as I need to wear black so I don't show up in my light paintings. Good luck everyone 🙏
I recently got involved with cinematography in the fall of last year. Meaning this year is looking expensive! I need to buy a laptop to edit with, a camera as I want to balance out the iOS and downs of filming on set with rented gear, with video commercial work. Hence need to buy a camera. And lighting. I’ve been working with and shaped my light recently, and not only would it help me with my own content on my channel, but it will help me perfect the craft of lighting so I can blow people out of the water with my lighting techniques on set! It would mean the world if I could win one of these lights, as I’m left wondering how I’m going to afford all these things this year to get my true passion to liftoff 🚀

firstly congratulation dude, such a mile stone reached. So my WHY, I need that light to up my game, I've been using the Godox AD300 Pro which is a flash for my constant light which first off all makes noise and not a powerfull light at all. So that 150c would be such a great addition to all my gear. I feel so stupod for not investing in a proper light when i started out.
These lights would help me level up my business and jumpstart my personal content career! I’ve been shooting for about nine months now and I’ve ran into some hurdles on getting equipment and this would lighten the load!
