Finaly just quitting like that was weird. I wonder if they disconnected or something.

Since they conceded during my turn, I think it was more likely the unfortunate result of dice cringe or unsuitable cards on hand. At least for me, the immediate result of loss of Internet connection (which I occasionally experience too) is me ending my turn and passing the turn to my opponent. If the loss is of shorter period, I can still continue the match. If the loss is of longer period, the game will then force me to concede.
