Van interior appears very complete. Common sense engineering and thorough. You can see many years of "fuss free" service just the way it's set up now. As for lodging. Two years ago, my initial thought of considering adding hotel/motel expenses frightened me. But back then, business was excellent. And my family encouraged me to "splurge". Plus they didn't like the thought of "grandpa" sleeping in a van at travel stops. So I complied with family wishes. Result? I was twice the man/driver after a hotel stay. More refreshed and rejuvenated. More like a "reset" between each delivery. Able to drive many more miles direct, more refreshed. Improved quality of life.
Basic, Basic, basic. When you carry cargo you tend to stay away from the fancy stuff. In my Transit I have a bed that slides and fold behind the front seats. Chinese heater, and a ryobi 18+1 fan for the summer. No T.V. why cause if the wheels are not rolling then I am sleeping.
Thanks for showing your setup. You mentioned some of your drivers have nicer setups (fridge, microwave, etc.) If you get a chance could you show us those setups too?
Have you done a video yet with everything you feel you’ll need in terms of supplies, tools, etc…to outfit your van with to do the job efficiently and effectively? Thanks! Love your videos.

One video a while back, you mentioned a high mileage tire you've been pretty happy with. Was it a 60 or 80k mile ? May we please have that link again? Thanks!

Do you ever need each channel on the side walls of the van or do you just need them on the floor? Let me know. Thank you. Your videos are fantastic. Thank you very much for your info.
It's true. There's even videos about it. I've slept on top of the freight many times. Sometimes u show up for delivery that's supposed to be direct and it's all closed and u unexpectedly have to layover of course that's where I'll sleep to save money and make more by not spending it on a hotel or motel.
Btw, how did you do your flooring insulation? and, I definitely need a Chinese heater as well. I use the "wave 2" by ecoflow, it is great for ac however, not so great as a heater. Is the heater easy to install? it? Thanks a bunch for all your info and videos
How long can you run your diesel heater before before recharging your battery and do you have a custom A setup for the very hot summer time what's our thoughts on portable showers for expedite vans?
Planet fitness has memberships that cost 15 bucks a month. Almost every city has one... You can shower daily there. There's no room for showers in our vans. Cargo space is most important. I ran my heater for 3 days before and it didn't drain my battery. They use very little power. For hot summers it's good to have a roof fan / vent. And if you're in the south drivers carry small ac for the window and a little generator. That's the cheapest way to cool the van. Having a very good insulated van helps a lot too.
Put my mattress on top of the freight and nap that way. If it's too tall I can put my mattress straight on the floor too and still have room to sleep as this van takes 4 pallets so even with 3 on board I still have 48 inches of width to rest on the floor on my mattress.
E-Tracks.... I see yours are mounted on the floor surface. I hear others say to have it inset into the flooring so pallets dont get hungup on them, etc. What are your experiences in this idealism? Anyone else, please comment as well. BTW: Bed idea....Brilliant. Its what I did.
It's my 3rd sprinter and this is the only way I mount them. You Want your pallets to slide on top of your etrack so they can load easier and unload like butter too. Wood on metal slides great.
Depends how you plan to split the profits. Usually if you drive yourself if you can handle sleepless nights and long miles you can do well. But if you cant and have to team drive then it will depend how you will split the profits.
Do you have any idea of what it might (or did) cost to get the closed cell insulation professionally sprayed in for a 170" extended sprinter? I'm on the West Coast like you.
Hey what's going on long time no comment. Im sadly still a heavy set guy 240lbs. Do you sleep good in that mattress? I'm currently 60/40 and owner only has a cheap foam that goes completely flat. I wanna buy a memory foam mattress but I don't know how good and comfortable it might be for me.
This is more solid, its bigger, sturdy etc always made. Cot will need to be assembled disassembled etc. This is fixed to the wall it's not going to be flying around the van like a cot. I like it this way. It's cheaper than a cot too.
It all depends on the state you live in, on your driving record, your credit history, age, marital status, etc etc. Cost is different for every driver.

Mines already installed. There's tons of videos online on how to install them.

What is the best "power" set up do you recommend? Gas generator or solar?
Probably solar is the less headache to use. Once installed it just works.

@ thank you so much for your answer!!
So I’m cases of full van long hauls where you have to stop and rest overnight, you can’t use that bed system, right? If so, what do you do?
Sleep on top of the freight. But most our loads deliver direct anyways so sleeping is done after delivery more often than during transit
Whats the height from floor to ceiling and distance from wall to wall? Also how far do the wheel wells stick out from the walls ?
That part I do not measure because it does not matter. You can only fit 72 tall through the door opening and 53 between wheel wells.
Very 👍
