The violin that she is using here is created by Antonio Stradivari. The 1708 “Strauss” Stradivarius.

Minseo Chae . It's Valery Gergiev. Yes, he almost always just use a toothpick. Sometimes nothing at all, just his hands and fingers. He is considered as one of the great conductors today. I'm no expert regarding conductors.
