I’m a LSU fan and I been living in Dallas TX my whole life and never been to a red river classic game i hope I will be able to make it to one in the next few years bc this is a pretty good intense rivalry.

I tried to go last year and as u mentioned tickets were very expensive so I went to a watch party in a bar called Federales it’s located in Deep Ellum and it was full of longhorns and Sooners. It was a very fun atmosphere especially the type of game it was last year. Next is to save up and go to the actual game in the Cotton Bowl stadium.
Probably the most exciting low scoring game I’ve watched. Both offenses played pretty well, but the defenses just stole the show
Lowest scoring game was 1991. Texas won 10-7 on a late scoop n score TD. That game is so forgettable.

I live in Dallas and go to that game every year! My advice is to save up because tickets are expensive!

That OU defensive TD with 2 minutes to go is the main and only play this game is remembered for.
Oklahoma's defense literally had to carry Nate Hybl to wins. That's how bad he was at QB.
That entire offense was horrendous that year.
Wouldn’t have mattered, but can’t believe Mack Brown kept Cedric Benson on the bench this game
OU QBs have historically destroyed UT with the run. Every year its the same. Even Freshman Troy Aikman killed UT with the scramble!
