Congratulations! You are so right when you say each woman has a natural weight that is best for their body. Over and over again in my 6 postpartum experiences and in the women I coach, I see the weight loss happen so easily when we learn to give the body exactly what it needs to feel safe. Then the body will naturally attain it's healthiest weight.
Thank you so much for this video! I could relate after my pregnancy many years ago. I member the lonely feeling and it was very difficult and lonely trying lose weight and looking after the baby who is now a teenager alhamdulillah. I did try to go for walks but I was in a flat on the 3 rd floor no lift and right to the end of the building. Hurt my ankle too. I also got pelvic girdle pain and then the pain became chronic and couldn’t walk or move at all. That’s how I gained a lot of weight and still struggle to lose it because I have a strange named arthritis which also makes it very hard to move. I also developed diabetes for many years has been a struggle but am working hard with diet and movement now. Haven’t lost any weight yet and been about two months. Very demotivating though. I hope you have an excellent delivery, stay strong and positive. Use some olive oil you know where so you don’t tear like many women do. Did you use the cushion seat thingy women use during birth? It apparently helps the muscles to deliver baby. Take care ❤
mashaAllah, just enjoy ur baby time together, yall look wonderfull with all the growing pains, looks actually like u had a well done botox in that part where u say my face looks terrible. u actually look good, its not terrible at all, perhaps feels like it for u as its diffrent from how u where feeling before. i like ur honesty about how its like going trough that phase feels like.
Girl, that waist was snatched!! So proud of you. You killed it then, and no doubt, you will have the same result. 💪🔥 Sidenote: Our cross trainer chronicles 😅😅 Love you, bestie! ❤❤ #fitnessjourney #transformation #girlpower
Watching this eating chocolate biscuits and milk while 6 months pregnant and have really bad pelvic pain 😭 Gained so much in sha Allah this is motivating me for after birth x
Pelvic pain can be so horrible 😭😭❤️ duas and love to you 💖🤲 may Allah swt give you ease with a healthy pregnancy and baby. & I hope it helps iA x for now just focus on rest and getting through the days. 😘❤️
Salam, great video, really helpful! You have motivated me to try get in better shape, thank you. May Allah make your delivery easy Inshallah, love & duas to you and family. X
Wasalaam x that’s lovely to hear sis. Just take it at your own pace and do your best without pressure. ❤️💪🏼 & thank you so much xx Ameen. Lots of love and duas to you and your family too.
Masha Allah your just so beautiful inside and out thank you for the tips I’ve been sticking to the same exercise for so long and have only seen a little difference I’m definitely going to mix it up now. May Allah bless you and your family and Masha Allah you look stunning ❤
Ameen x Bless you, that’s so sweet 😂💖 felt very not cute at this point of pregnancy while filming this so I appreciate the love 🤣❤️ Yesss sis! Defo mix it up now. I think our bodies change most when we make it uncomfortable by pushing it in new ways. I like doing the same exercise over and over sometimes because I don’t have to think, but that works more to maintain current weight. To lose weight quicker I think it helps to keep your body guessing. I pray it’s made easy for you ❤️ you can do this! 💪🏼😘
I struggled so much after having a child and grow with jo is amazing workout!!! I lost a lot of weight doing grow with jo working out on treadmill some days as well and intermittent fasting! 🙂
I think I’m going to start with some Grow with Jo this next time too ❤️ will be easiest to do at home with 2 babies to watch I think 🤔 plus it’s fun 😏 will see how it goes 😅 intermittent fasting is great too! Xx
Assalamualaikum Amara! Fellow Amara here. I needed this as I've just had a baby and looking to lose the weight too! Thank you so much for this. Quick q, how did you manage with breastfeeding and leaving Amaya when you went to thr gym? Did you express? Also, Can you do a video with advice on co sleeping and how you managed with Amaya when she was younger and managed to have some private time with your husband too🙈 I really want to co sleep with my little one but theres so much info about it not being safe etc. Lots of love to you! May Allah grant you and easy and swift birth and make the postnatal period the best you've ever had! Ameen ❤❤❤
Wasalaam. Oooooh, so much to say and gotta try and keep it concise 🤣 Firstly, I hope the vid helps. ❤️ I’ve got a straight-to-it tips video coming too which I hope is useful. Breastfeeding and amaya - I would latch and feed her in her sleep right before I left so that she wouldn’t need any while I was gone. I’d try as soon as I woke up or after I’d gotten dressed depending on when she wanted it. I didn’t express but that’s also an option x I would love to do a video on cosleeping ❤️ Sufyan and I have so much to share and say on it so maybe it’ll be a podcast ep iA soon. I’ll be sure to include those aspects too x But omg doooooo itttttt ❤️ (if you wanna 👀) I was scared too but it becomes so instinctual and natural. Read the safe sleep guidelines online but after that try to not be afraid. To me it’s so much less scary than them sleeping away from me. I am there to respond to them and protect them (and snuggle them). It’s the best and I’d never do it another way now 🥲. Do it safely and it’s great x
Ameen to your beautiful duas and I pray you and your baby are well, too!! Fellow Amara ❤️ also well done for trying breastfeeding! It can be hard at first and not well supported (especially in the UK). May Allah swt make it easy for you x I love breastfeeding now :’)
I'm really grateful for this video ❤ I can relate to it quite a lot ,going through some very similar right now , The part where you try so hard and ans see no progress is so real ,I didn't know that it was something that happened. May Allah bless you 🎉❤
Alhamdulilah, I’m glad it was relatable for you. The plateaus are so tough in the moment but just keep going! 💪🏼 Don’t let it get to your head. Keep going. Action will lead to results iA xx may Allah swt bless you too ❤️
How tall are you? Also did you excercise when you had your period. I struggle to excercise when my period starts as they're really painful and then my routine or habit of exercising just drops and I struggle to get back to it again how did you remain consistent
I’m 5ft6 or just under 🤔 & on the first couple of days of my period I would just do some gentle stretches or nothing at all. If I went 3 days ish without exercising or moving (even walking) I would try and force myself to get back into it so I didn’t drop off. Give your body some mercy when it needs it (for period) and then decide for yourself how many days until you need to have a word with yourself and get it back into action. If it gets to too many days, you could even just use the time for stretches or a really short, gentle walk so the habit is still kept up of doing something. 🤷🏻♀️ I remained consistent by trying to do it similar time everyday so it was part of my routine and I didn’t have to convince myself to find time each new day. Just commit and let the days, weeks, months pass and then you look up and actually see progress. Once you see real progress (give it a couple of months at least) it won’t feel so hard to do anymore iA, it will feel exciting to do. x
I have a quick tips video coming up iA x this was more of a personal journey storytime. Definitely use the chapters to skim or play the video sped up, that’s what I do when I want the info quicker. 😅😂
I truly believe that you have helped someone. It’s a joy to watch you!
I hope I have ❤️ thank you xxx
