Learning a new language makes me feel like a 2 year old
Riiiiiiight lol hahahaha
In a way, learning a new language is like being a baby in that country. The first time any of us learned a language was when we were babies, so it makes sense that doing it again makes us feel like that.
Right haha
Me too
Yes lol HAHAHAHAHA
The beginning was hilarious!
Gang nabbit!!
Hahahaha
Real life conversations for Beginners is too easy for me and Intermediate level is a little bit too difficult 😂
I wish you make another book like this with more dialogues related to work and university. I really like the Intermediate one but there are not that many dialogues there sadly
Yeah I agree, even though intermediate is okay for me >.
Integrated korean actually has a lot of conversations with university!
ㅋㅋㅋㅋ same here
Excactly I'm stuck between beginner and intermediate and don't know how to make progress T-T
@@ichliebebaeumeweilbaum how did you get that far? I feel like I'm stuck too >.
This was perfect... grammar is my weak point, at the moment. So this helps me out a lot!!... 고마워요
It's 감사헤요
@@hiraeth_2004 it could be either taetae, and its 감사해요
@@hiraeth_2004 if you're going to correct someone, at least do it right... both words mean thanks, but I don't know which one is more formal
@@nadie-qm8rq see
Most formal- 감사합니다
Normal- 고마워요
Informal- 고마워
You can also use 감사합니다 (most formal) as 감사해요
@@hiraeth_2004 well, why correct it if it’s still right? Lol
Omg😂 i love her reaction at the beginning of the video when she was trying to make him say the correct pronunciation & he kept saying the wrong one.
The first convo I understood 100% 😁
I have this book and it's one of my favourite books to study from. The lessons are really good and the vocabulary is broken down really well. Also, the size and appearance makes me want to read it even more. The book is quite thick so its packed with vocabulary and it's a great price. The illustrations are really nice too. I'm getting the intermediate level soon and I'm really excited
Omg ㅎㅎㅎㅎ that was the FUNNIEST introduction!
The most useful lesson in youtube! Love it
Yay let me get my notebook 🥰🤭
the first clip is exactly what it's like trying to teach my dad korean
We need more lessons like this please
Wow! I know these! I am glad! Actually when they talked in korean.. I was able to get that 😍
Thank you so man learning sites, give all of these sentences, and vocabulary but never give opportunities for dialogue, and thats how things stick for me
I've started learning Hanguk as my fourth language.
Thanks
I want more of these . These are really good😍😍😍👌
감삼니다
thank you so much, that was a great explanation.
Please consider tackling 보다 in depth. I've come to understand that there's much more to it than "to look."
Well, -어/아 보다 means to try ___. If you Google that phrase + "grammar" you should find pages that explain it in depth
I love this! Thank you so much🤍
great
It would be great if u add the syllables in english for 2nd one like the first one
that was amazing tbh
me gustaría que hagan clases así para cada leccion del libro, es mas didactico...
is there such stuff for intermediate to advanced? Or should I just converse more with native speakers?
Yes, there's an intermediate version of this book.
I would also highly recommend Darakwon's "Master Korean" series which goes up to the Level 4 of the TOPIK (in terms of grammar and vocabulary, plus they have TOPIK like questions in the books).
This is an excellent - yet another one - way to learn / teach. It is unfortunate that the live classes are not made available for 24 hrs on YT because, 11 AM KST means 4 AM here, and at that time, well... Zzzzzzzzz...
By the way, are your books available in regular bookstores in Korea, because, hopefully, one day... Shhhhhhh...
Please make video like this for every book's chapter
I have a question:
I’m foreign, so my family name is ‘Gonzalez’ (곤잘레스 in Korean) and my given name is ‘Rose’ (로제 in Korean). If I introduce myself, would I still use my family name first?
Should I say: 저는 곤잘레스로제이에요. (?)
Or should I put my given name first? Thank you in advance :)
If you were to intrdouce yourself to a Korean, since you are a foreigner, I don't think the order would matter that much :>
Koreans tend to say foreign names in the foreign order but because there are so many common last names in Korea, Koreans usually use first names. It's not considered rude to refer to someone by their first name but they will often just refer to people by their title plus -님 like 선생님 or 사장님.
Now I am trying to recall how I was taught english when I was in Nursery to learn korean😅
intro music sounds like some game i remember.
Thank you.
I legit thought you said "그런데 고양이는 부산이에요" and I was so confused. Say the whole thing in English it makes it 10 times funnier
0:15 is an accurate representation of the look I give people when they butcher my name for the first time
Same. They literally say my name wrong all the time
I recently got purchased this book and its so good. Why when the teacher explaining the endings of the words is she saying repeating the same sound for both endings, when they are not the same . but when the conversation is repeated at the end of the video, the mans voice says them differently? Which is correct please as it is most difficult to learn how to speak when the teachers are saying it differently? Many thanks for a brilliant book. Tina from England
We can get this book in Amazon
Thank you as always
please please please make a video for all the sections
To repeat the dialogue 3:20
Exactly!! Some ppl have family name or middle name. And me, I have middle name but someone that I know ask me "Why you don't have family name??" like..
Wth
ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ the first scene 😆
I learn like I am a teacher
It must be so hard for Americans learning Korean but im British and we have a similar accent to koreans
Scribbles K-pop Not really! Anyone can do it with practice and determination.
OMG THIS WAS AMAZING

Hello Mam, I need grammer and Topik related book. Please give this type pdf book.
Is she gonna go through all the chapters in that book? Watching it was the most productive thing I did all day… 🥹please do more💜
So that's why it's 안녕하세요 and not 안녕해요... I always wondered.
Also would it make sense to say 안녕합니다 when you speak to.. Let's say to the president? Or would you still use 안녕하세요?
at around 3:20 they both say "제 이름은" but they pronounce it different. He says like "cheyrumen", and she says like "cheydumden" , i am confused.
can u share the name of music which you used for introduction backgriund?
Do you have chapter 2 for this lesson??
How much for the book?
Thanks, damn useful!!
The beginning took me out 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Should one start this along with grammar level 1 ?
We recommend you study this book after finishing level 1😄
Buen video desde saludos Mexico.
If u have time please speak with me in korean ...thank u.
nice
GAAAAEEEENNGGG NAMMMMM
I got the first dialogue a bit easily
idk why, but i cant hear names properly but i can hear everything else properly
good video!!
where can i buy this book in korea?
You mean in an actual store? You can buy it in Kyobo bookstore. =)
I'm sad that the shipping is more expensive than the book
Me too :((. I wish there were transcripts
They have an ebook version
Thank you ! this video is very useful
How can i pronuonce this in korean (hi my name is aisy and nice to meet you )
(Annyeonghaseyo jeoneun aisy imnida banggapsumnida ) is this correct and what is the meaning of imnida or입니다
감사함니다 thank you
입니다 is basically a more common form of 이에요/예요
Both mean the same
i hate learning new languages why cant i just know it naturally
Why is 이 translated as “lee” and not “ee”
GAnGnaM at the beginning
Like mate, stop procrastinating
i don’t understand A is B
Isn't 일/il mean a "day" ??then why is it "work" too?must be some exception 🤔
Почему субтитры только на корейском? Это видео наоборот для тех, кто учит его, зачем корейский субтитры? Я плохо по английски понимаю на слух. :(
Where the hell can I buy this book it's not even available in national bookstore
On our online bookstore!

I’ll be willing to pay for a course like this if you go through every chapter of this book!!! It’s so helpful!!
หมอเรียนภาษาเกาหลีอยู่หรอค้าบ สู้ ๆ น้า!
The intro has me screaming omg I HATE when people say things in another language wrong after hearing it correctly
Hahahahahahaha
They usually arent doing it on purpose. It can be difficult
Adult brains have trouble processing sounds they're not familiar with, so they come up with the closest sound in their own language. Some people are better at distinguishing sounds than others, and almost everyone improves with practice.
Hmm guess I was a different person a year ago. I mean, that still irks me but I just I must have a superior sense of hearing? I have perfect pitch as well. I can hear slight differences in tone very easily.
Anyway, korean with a HEAVY american accent still hurts my eyes 🤣 but I guess some people need more practice than others... some times a LOT more
ahh it's difficult though 😂 i remember listening to a recording of myself in korean a couple months ago and i sounded god awful 🙃 but i wouldn't have improved without a lot of practice
The guy : Gaeng-Nam
Me: "OPPA GANGNAM STYLE😎"
Loll😂
"GANG-naM"🤦🤦🤦🤦😭
ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
@투모로우바이투게더 yes😂

I hate when people cant pronounce Korean names/places xD

Can we have a video like this for each lesson of the book?
WOLFQUEEN then there would be no point buying the book
@@chaelicopter true
The audio of these lessons and the words used are available in the “podcasts” app
@@malathisrinivasan6961 which app can you share the link please if you don't mind😊
@@tejaswinishanmuk2867 its called podcast it comes with the iphones...i dont have the link
I love the beginning part! I keep reversing the same part! Please make more beginning like that, TTMIK Team! Who's agree, like!
This video was SO helpful. I absolutely love the format. It's very easy to understand and the writing and repetition is very helpful. This format is the best I've seen!
Nice little listening/comprehension/pronunciation lesson. Made me feel like I was watching Dora the Explorer when she waited for me to respond with the right answer lol *clap clap*
can u please mention when to use 입니다 and when to use 이에요?? because sometimes people use 입니다 when they introduce themselves.
also when to use similar meaning words like 그런데 and 하지만
입니다 is the more formal version of 이에요/예요, so they have just the same meaning. The dictionary form of both is 이다.
To answer your second question, 그런데 is more of a "however" and 하지만 is more of a "but" but they can be used interchangeably in different situations.
I’m getting annoyed by Gangnam😂😂😂
The intro where he can't pronounce "Gangnam" correctly even with her slowly pronouncing it is a real struggle. I tried to help my online friends learn Hangul, but they pronounced everything so American and didn't even attempt to follow my pronunciation.
I'm a big fan of TTMIK 💜
Learning Korean is hard but fun
That's the most important!
Can we have a video like this for each lesson of the book?plllzzzzzzz
Today I dreamed of yul that I went to his birthday party and all the teachers from ttmik were there we all were talking in Korean
I told yul: 우리 같이 놀자!
선경화 선생님 안녕하세요! 이것은 정말 좋은 수업입니다! 책 전체로 이런 수업이 있었으면 좋겠어요, 저는. 감사합니다! ....PS: I really would like to follow the live lesson,....but it's 3 o'clock in the middle of the night in UK!! 😅😅😴😴
This is why we learn Hangul not romanization 🤣🤣🤣 gang name😂
I would be great to have this for each chapter 😭
