1. Granites are natural stones and Tiles are man made.
2. Don't go for Matt finishing tiles and dark tiles for bath rooms bcoz hard stains will not go so go for glassy finishing tiles.
3. Usually white granites will have high price and dark granites will have low price.
4. While purchasing white granite please ensure there is no iron patches in granites otherwise your granites color will turn into yellow.
5. For bath room floors always prefer sadarahalli stones instead of anti skid tiles.
6.Fot bath rooms upto 7ft tiles are is enough. Don't waste ur money just by putting tiles till roof.
7. Hope all laying cost mentioned in this video are included the cement+labour. If not, it too high(as per Bengaluru standard rates).
8. While selecting flooring color, please plan about wall painting color, wood works, interior designs and furnitures color as well. If Flooring is dark rest should be light or vice versa. It depends on your taste.
9. Tiles looses the shining day by day but granites shining increases day by day.
10. As soon as your done with flooring installation, please apply pop to floor to avoid cracks and scratches on the floor during wood work and paining.
11. Before starting tiles or granite work on floor or wall, please ensure that you guys are done with all water and wiring lines.

For our small villa, I used 1000 sq, ft for hall, sit out, corridor, steps to first floor, now almost 20 years is in good condition, once I polished, for kitchen, front, sit out wall, I put granite, it is also in good condition, for bedrooms , I used vitrified brown color Khajaria brand, look granite tiles, sq ft Rs 95.00, it looks great, in good condition. I wanted some info, I got now, thank you very much, I sweep the floor daily, mop the floor with water once in two days.

There are lot of other materials than these , not just marble, granite , vitrified, cement flooring, mosaic flooring, Kota stone , sand stone , jaisalmeer, slate stone, wooden flooring, laminate wooden flooring, ceramic flooring, terracotta flooring, engineered quarts engineered marble , at last u have recommended tiles it's not a about look or aesthetic it's about natural quality of tile , vitrified tile will create leg problems actually and also when ever we choose material it should be something contextually available, nowadays to houses are becoming a element of their economic showoff rather than enhancing their contextual life style ,how much ever natural material we use out body gets a connection with those materials easily than artificial things, and more over materials house is combination of climatology, natural light, pure air, way we design to give a spacial ambience, a peace in mind. I told all these because I am an Architect and I feel sad for nowadays clients mentality and perspective of house is completely different illogical.

Hi Sir... saw you many videos for construction...here you refered Marble flooring & Tiles flooring...but you not given any information about granite flooring...I stay in mangalore, karataka state...many of the people they used GRANITE flooring...even engineers refering Granite flooring intstaed ofMarble and tiles.... I got some negative comments on Granite flooring (saying granite flooring may be giving problem after 10 years like coming bubles coming, or generating holes...like thus some negative comments also cant repair this problem like marbles we can fix it with chemical & polish)...Appreciated your kind information on Granite flooring...Actual my house construction under progress and confusion on Granite or Marvble flooring....

Best if mud flooring ( if mason is good, he will use linseed oil and make floor water proof), red oxide or mosaic.
