This song went hard for no reason. Still holds up to this day and is better than most intros.
Ong. This a big W for an anime that never came out with a season 2, one of the best and most iconic intros to ever exist. Nothing will ever top this rock type of style instrumental.

I remember binging this series on the last day of my summer holiday, laying on the living room couches (we were renovating and my room had the most space for em) with my shitty old laptop that would overheat a lot. I've finished around 4am after a grueling 10 hours of 200kb/s download speed streaming experience. I don't remember what year it was but I was definitely a young weeb at the time. Good fucking times. Also one of the first times I stayed up all night!
Highschool of the dead was the best anime for me, it had so much potential and I fell in love with this song, I'm sad because the author died and we're probably not gonna see any continuation of it ever again :((

Mate. I'm very sorry to break it to ya, The creator for the manga passed away in 2016. And the manga dropped off at chapter 30(so not much to build season 2 on). If they make a 2nd season I doubt it'll be picked up by Madhouse again either. I waited so long for the 2nd season back in the day. So i'm sad to bring these news to you fam.
@@slyfoxfan0799 I know. I’ve been reading articles, watching videos, reading Reddit posts about the possibility of getting another season. Been doing that for about a year now. In all of them I hear the same thing. “The writer is dead.” “The artist doesn’t want to continue because the passing of the writer” “It’s been over 10 years.” “An American studio will pick it up.” “There isn’t enough source material to make a 2nd season.” It might be a stretch but if we really want to, we as a fan base could write it collectively our self’s.
