This story is so powerful. I heard it in a prison as I was reached. I didn’t know the names of the characters but I knew I wanted to be like the minister who said” You can cut me in to a thousand pieces and a thousand pieces will cry out Jesus loves you”. I became that minister for many years. Preaching to gang bangers and people who once wanted to kill me “Jesus Loves You”. Your testimony Nicky has reached so many including me. Love you.

Nicki, why am I here, because a country preacher told a gang member that you can cut me into a thousand pieces and every piece will say I love you. I walked into the store with the Big Crush sign in Revelstoke BC Canada and bought a comic book, called The Cross and the Switchblade. I was maybe 8 years old. I read it cover to cover. And I did not give my life that day, or even that year, but that message never left my heart. Then... a book called Carmen, another message, teen Challenge, that book kept me from a life of drugs, although I grew up with abuse in every corner, God had a plan, and Labourers, all around. I gave my life in my twenties, when face to face I had two choices, be the abuse product or give Jesus a chance, I chose Jesus. I still choose Jesus. Why am I Here, because Nicki chose Jesus, because David Wilkerson chose Jesus, because Carmen chose Jesus and because Jesus Chose Kim... me... thank God he did. Praise God. Keep on Praising God. Thank you Jesus.

Since the economy picked up after the 2008 crash, those who lost their 401K and savings had to go back into the job market and start over but the market would not let them back in - companies would only hire young people in their 20s who recently graduated school for jobs that were starting at 50k to 100k per year and full free health benefits. Causing people over 40 and 50 to lose their apartments, homes and plunging them into poverty and premature illness - this is still going on. These companies believe in diversity except when it comes to age. False narrative that professional people over 40 cannot keep up with technology. The young people around me in NYC only know how to order from Amazon and text an Uber. and I can still perform all the many professional office jobs that are available.

Former fellow gang member who was teasing and mocking you after you got saved, and one day he got on your last nerve, and you started beating on him. Then you had them on his knees and said "accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior or I'll kill you!" He cried out "oh Jesus please!!! Don't let Nicky kill me!"
