Just bought one at Home Depot, influenced by your comprehensive real-life test. This would power my refrigerator for 10+ hours. Instead of running my generator for 10 hours and running a power cord, this unit is a bucket of electricity. Take it to the item that needs power then recharge it from the generator for under 2 hours. Will reduce running time of the generator, especially in emergencies when fuel supplies are tight. In addition to simultaneously keeping my fleet of Ridgid batteries at the ready. This is a very practical item.
Man great video! Exactly what I was looking for. I know I need one of these power stations, but I was getting overwhelmed watching some of these other videos. This is exactly what I need! Thank you!
@@lionintu well, I lived in a neighborhood where we lost power for two months, and if we had a generator like that, that could provide power to cook lunches and dinners that would’ve helped so it’s not really overthinking
@@weasal97what neighborhood is that? This will run all things you mentioned. Not really for fridges since you need constant power for long periods. Refrigerator would be better suited with their larger model the 767 + expansion battery
@@weasal97 yikes. Yeah id get something larger and a gas/natural gas genny to top off. Because it’s not fuel efficient to let a gas genny run 24/7 to keep a fridge running. I just ordered one thanks to your video. I figure it should work well with the toaster and compact Keurig in my Geo Pro travel trailer while we're boondocking.
Considering purchasing for a computer lab project in Jacmel, Haïti. 6x AC units for the laptops, will be getting the Anker solar panels to charge the unit. Thanks for the review.
@@andrewwithers530how is she lying? I also have a Duromax 12000 watt dual fuel generator. During the last blackout we had I ran it on propane and powered a 15,000 btu air conditioner, two full size refrigerators, washer, two large TV's, plus internet, phone
UM, are you sure about the muti charge option? I have this and the 767, and if i use A/C to charge it, I can't use the solar or DC option. The A/C is dominant .
I think this Anker compares to the ecoflow River pro. It would be nice to see just how they compare. I Agree Anker has great customer service tho. I have many small anker products. They make quality stuff.
Compared to the Equivalent EcoFlow Model (Delta 2) this has a faster recharge speed (58 vs 80 minutes), higher solar input by 100 watts, higher AC input by 100 watts, 6 instead of 2 3-pin outlets, and it looks better imo. Only advantage the Delta 2 has is it can use the Delta 2 Max extra battery for up to 3,072Wh capacity while you can't use the SOLIX F2000 battery with the C1000, so the C1000 only goes up to 2,112Wh. Delta 2 also has a better USB output, with 2x 100W ports, 2x 12W USB-A's and 2x 18W USB-A's. The C1000 only has 1x 100W port, 1x 30W port, and 2x 12W USB-A ports.
They are both awesome units really. I use this one a bit more though cause it's a little more portable and lighter. Other than that, can't go wrong with either units
Clint the Bat-ray King! How many watts was it pulling with the bench grinder on it to make it trip? Also, did you try running a miter/table saw on it? I bought a Bluetti AC300/B300 when they released. It's 3000W and supoosed to be 5400-60000 peak, but my Dewalt miter and table saws (1800W each) trip every time I try to run them on it. It was frustrating, but it works great on everything else. Anyways, brother, thanks for bringing us the new products and the entertainment. Maybe your evil twin should see how many 100W heads he can hook up to this Ankor. And play his devil music. lmao. \m/ \m/
The evil twinnis very evil 😢 That said, I was around 2100w before is started to go if i remembercorrectly. I have the 200 bluetti max coming this week. I like it a lot, but there are a few things that I don't care for. Probably Tuesday I'll have it up brother 👊
@@ToolReviewZone Sweetness, Clint. I did a lot of research 2 years ago on the "solar" generators before I bought the Bluetti. I can't keep up with all the stuff that's coming out now. The $749 price on that anker ain't bad with the Lithium iron phosphate battery. It's wise to be stocking up on all these things. How's everything going up your way since the derailment fiasco a few months ago? I pray everyone is safe and doing well. Peace out, brother.
I just bought one and that is what I am doing. It works as a UPS with an automatic transfer switch. Works great so far and already had some power interruptions, but not to my router.
I have question. Will it be safe if I plug in my tv systems, my stereo surround sound, and my wifi router while Anker solis is plug while being charged all day everyday?
A demo in a real life blackout situation would’ve been much better in my opinion because not too many people are running circular saws, grinders and charging power tool batteries in emergency situations
Great video! The Segway Portable PowerStation Cube Series seems like an amazing power backup solution for outdoor enthusiasts like us. Its massive capacity, fast recharging, and waterproof technology make it perfect for camping trips. It's also great that it has a smart app control for easy management. Definitely worth considering!
This Anker Solix unit only provides a 2X surge capacity, and most household inductive appliances require at least a 3x surge capacity, so it can hardly be called amazing.
I recommend the Pecron E2000LFP with1920Wh that is expandable to 8064Wh. At just $1,099.00, the Pecron Solgen puts Anker solgen to shame. Nice like review but people shouldn't buy it. I own the Pecron and use it at night instead of the propane generator during blackouts because the gas generator is too loud. I only need three 200 watt 24v Newpowa solar panels run in series to keep the solgen at 100% during the day and it runs all night without any issues.
Plug in a refrigerator or a microwave a sump pump and see how it does. To expensive I can buy a generator that does the same thing that will power the whole house for cheaper
This isn’t meant to be a whole house generator. I’m not even sure why people make reviews suggesting that it is. These are perfect for camping or situations where ya need to keep lights on or charge electronics. Sure it will likely be able to run the items you mentioned but for a very short time making it pointless.
MEH, it's going to be priced at $999. Overpriced. I can get a Pecron LFP unit with 1500wh for only $899 and it has usb charging, solar input, bluetooth, smartphone app etc. Why would you pay more for less?

I've used Anker batteries for media purposes for many years now and they are beasts, 100%!
How often do you have to charge the Anker? Can I leave it connected to the wall outlet at all times?
I like that it's lightweight and small. Solar banks really improving every year. Thanks for the enthusiastic review.😂
