Makes me laugh Kathryn, as many Bride's pay a fortune for their flowers in the first place and then another fortune to have their flowers preserved. These would last forever and are far cheaper :0) xx Thankyou and thanks for dropping by :0) www.jenningscreationsboutique.com
Hi, I am Lois from B.C. Canada and have been watching you for years. You gave me the confidence to try it myself. I have made hundreds of flower brooches, barrettes, hairbands and wreaths and go to farmers markets and bazaars to sell them. I am retired and this keeps me busy and I love it. I check my computer every day to see what you are making. And to hear your accent and funny stories. I just love you and wish you were my neighbor ha ha. I could pick your brain and learn more each day. I have a question: I want to put a pearl fringe on the bottom of a skirt I made. What is the best thread for the beads and how should I attach it to the hem of the skirt. If you ever get time to help me with this I would appreciate it. I know how busy you are.
Hi Lois, for security, you could attach the pearl trim to a ribbon, then sew it to the hem from under the skirt (are you making the pearl trim yourself, or is it shop bought?). Use either a good nylon/silk thread if sewing by machine, but you could also use a good strong cotton thread if sewing by hand! Hope this helps and have a fab time crafting. Thank you for following me for so long, much appreciate it! Thankyou and thanks for dropping by :0) www.jenningscreationsboutique.com

Beautiful! A few years ago huge paper flowers were all the rage for weddings, these are prettier!
