Here it is finally, thanks to Wayne and Henry at acparadise.com we have the video!! Everyone say huzzah! And if your a female cosplayer you can say "huzzah" by going to update your ACP or go and join.
Anyway...
This is our second One Piece Myu skit that I came up. I thought I would never do it again but when you get an idea.. it sticks. Luckily all my friend's and fellow cosplay group members were willing to jump in. Despite later all questioning our sanity for making MORE sparkle costumes. AND WE MADE THEM WELL THIS TIME!! No short cuts.. XD
We won Best in Show again! Totally unexpected but huzzah! Thanks to all my cast mates for helping with dancing idea's and letting me experiment and bounce different ideas off them
FAQ TIME! So you don't have to keep asking...
1. Why is that Nami so Fat??! It ruined my sexual fantasies!
- Yes I'm aware I am fat and comments on this subject are NOT necessary. Let's all move on and just try to enjoy things in life. Maybe not judge everything based on dress size.
2. What is the name of that song?!
- "Samba: Akuma no Mi" is the title.
3. Where can I download the aforementioned song??
- I bought the CD and that's where I got it... so find a friend in Japan or search the Internet. It comes in one of the Collection CD's and in a CD single.
4. Can you send me the song.
-Nope.. please go buy the CD and support One Piece.
5. Okay last time there were a bunch of girls playing boys in your skit.. but this time maybe some men folk...?
-Yes we are all girls again. ::pause:: YES EVERYONE! :D EXCEPT, oh there is an except, Pandaman.. that was our token male who may want to remain nameless. We love him for doing that costume.
6. That's a lot of people on stage.. i couldn't catch them all.. who was up there?
-We had the Mugiwara 5: Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Ussop and Sanji. The Akuma no Mi Users: (People on the stools) Chopper, Robin, Alvida, Smoker, Ace, Buggy and Crocodile.
7. Why those characters..? Why not "insert character name here"?
-The song is about the Devil's Fruit or Akuma no Mi so we wanted all Devil Fruit user's people would recognize. (And it was character's cosplayer's wanted to sew.) I didn't add any more people because 13 people on stage is already hard enough to choreography.
8. How long did it take to make the skit?
-I have been plotting the idea for about a year. 1 week to work out the dancing and choreography and we had about 15-20 hours of practice sessions to learn everything.
9. That Robin/Alvida was hot... can I get her info..?
- She's taken. Yep both of them
10. What costumes were the Mugiwara 5 wearing?? That's not the outfits they normally wear!
-We decided to go with the costumes from the 3rd Movie to mix it up a bit.
11. I don't like this cosplayer who played "insert character here" you should of picked someone better...
- Please don't leave these comments.. these cosplayers are all my dear friend and it hurts me to see them attacked. We all worked really hard and they sure as heck didn't get paid. This was all for fun.
12. Why isn't it the Mugiwara 8????
-The song didn't have Chopper, Robin or Franky singing so it would be weird if they we're running around with us. (The song was old)
13. I don't think you understand that Nami was REALLY fat....
- That isn't a question but I'll let you know.. I just happened to pick 4 girls to be the lead who happen to be size 2-4. I mean these girls are SKINNY. Which sadly made me look even bigger. Not denying the big.. so breathe.. and go take your fat hate elsewhere.. just enjoy the crazy dancing sparkle pirates. Good.
14. Will you be making another One Piece Myu?
-Probably not unless they come out with an AMAZING song I just can't resist. But we would do it for show not to compete.
