  • In this segment of the Virtual Open House hosted on May 13th, Heather Happy, a Licensed Esthetician at our Brentwood, TN office, went over what it's like and what the benefits are for both Halo and BBL treatments.
    The Sciton Broadband Light (BBL) sets a new standard in treating skin conditions associated with aging, acne, loss of firmness, unwanted hair, and sun damage. Our Halo treatment works to reverse damage to the skin over time, targeting enlarged pores, uneven skin tone, discoloration, and more. Find out how this duo can reverse your aging! Very informative! We're trying to upgrade to hero and the halo!! I love bbl and have used resurfacing for a few years and have been curious how much better halo actually is in comparison to the original resurfacing

    After having just the BBL done for the first time three days ago, I was kind of surprised with my cheeks becoming so huge, I look like a dog that got stung by a bee. Under my eyes is also very, very swollen.The skin is so stretched from the swelling that it looks like it will burst. I'm not new to lasers and have had other stuff done, but never swollen up like this before. Hoping it goes down in the next few days. Definitely not something that you can just return to work the same or next day. I'm hiding out until I look normal again. :)

      @@lynnhahn1396 Sadly the outcome is beyond minimal. Definitely not worth the price tag.

      @@anneann9127 did you only just have one treatment? you need to have a series of treatments in order to see results

      @@buffycatnip Yes, just the one. My Plastic Surgeon said it would get rid of the red marks and a few light brown spots. At 900.00 per treatment, I can't see having this done every two weeks for up to 5 treatments. That price would make it 4,500. I think for me I would rather have the CO2 Laser done even with more down time.

      Don’t let them get anywhere near your eyes. This happened to me, never the same since.

    Lol I work plastics too and have no cares about being red ...it is free advertisement for me and a way to discuss what I did 😄

    I had the HALO recently but experienced a very minimal amount of MENDs/rough skin... is that normal?

    I’m confused. In the first 30 seconds you say BBL is “Intense Pulsed Light” (IPL), but you then go on to say how BBL is different from IPL. How can it be “different from IPL” if it is IPL? I’d really like to understand

    • @heatherhappy9572
      @heatherhappy9572 5 місяців тому

      BBL is IPL technology, but it’s branded by the company Sciton. It’s like “cola” and “coke or Pepsi” Cola is the umbrella term but Coke or Pepsi are branded and have their own distinct features.

    Does BBL treats melasma

    • @shrutefarms4741
      @shrutefarms4741 Рік тому

      No it does not. You need to treat melasma very carefully and see a specialist or it can get worse.

    Hi team, just wondering what do you mean by darker skin? So it’s very dark or even not suitable for brown skin( Indian skin) neither for Indian skin tone???

    • @heatherhappy9572
      @heatherhappy9572 Рік тому

      We categorize skin tones by Fitzpatrick numbers 1-6. Indian skin is typically a Fitzpatrick 5 and it’s possible to do BBL but with much caution. We do not treat Fitzpatrick 6 skin with IPL or BBL. Alternative treatments could be lasers like Moxi or Halo and chemical peels for discoloration

      No. It’s unsafe for very dark or black skin. I suggest lasers like Moxi or Halo or chemical peels
