Robin, that was a fantastic video! Unlike many other car reviewers, you focused more on the performance of the vehicle than the technology. You offered your expert opinion, which is truly what most people who look at You Tube videos want. All these other videos that just play music are useless. Well done! Keep them coming!
I literally started a 401k at my job to cash in for the down payment on one of these in a few years. Have an E350 now and it's exceptional, will likely lease and then purchase at lease end. Mercedes takes every dollar spent on lease off original window sticker for that purchase price at lease maturity, that is a great deal!
@P Lei .... The North American All-Terrain wagons have the "Air-Suspension" as standard equipment. .. (or optional called Air Body Control as it was formally known as,, before the All-Terrain model trim.)
That looks like it has the same haptic buttons on the steering wheel and everyone complains about on the VW Golf. Yet people don't seem to complain about the Mercedes.
@Edward Zdankiewicz ... Mercedes AG's E-Klasse change to haptic switch-gear hasn't been well received. .. As the new owner of a '23 E-450 A/T wagon (4 weeks now) the haptic switch -gear is just Okay... There's no choice but to get-over-it.. Our Kombi is now about 4-weeks young with the haptic controls becoming second nature... However "haptic" does suck. ..
Bought one of these slightly used (4K) a few months ago. Doesn't have air suspension, but ride/handling are still fine. The drive train is powerful and silky smooth, but the technology is irritating to the point where the car pretty much leaves a bad taste in my mouth. In fact, I mostly use a different vehicle as my daily driver. The "Mercedes Me" phone app functions inconsistently, and Mercedes telephone support is rarely helpful with anything. Older people and the technoligically inept should think long and hard before taking the plunge into one of these cars.
Check the reviews and all the problems with these cars before you buy one. Once your 3 year warranty runs out you will be sorry. That’s why the price drops 30-40% after just 3 years.
Yes. But I reviewed the E450 sedan and compared it to other M-B E-Class sedans. There is also a wagon, which is called All-Terrain. ua-cam.com/video/64NqDFRqrvY/v-deo.html

Thank you very much! It means a lot to read your comment. What you describe is what I strive for. Again, thank you.

I hope your plan works out and that you love it.
+1.. An informative '22 E-Klasse E450 review. .. Subscribed.
Thank you!
Nice Car Videos! I subscribed!
Thank you, much appreciated!
I don’t like that MB did away with the hood ornament. 😢
Great review, I am heading to my dealer tomorrow to order one , same color and specs.
Thank you very much! I hope the dealer has exactly what you want.
Very nice machine I’m impressed 😊
Great review, please do the E53 if you can. Thanks
Thank you! I'll see If I can get my hands on one.
Curious what leasing this runs.
I’m strongly considering this car. I only wish it had a wooden steering wheel. Just that extra touch of luxury
It’s a great car, to be sure. And I imagine that with a bit of extra money, there must be a way to add wood veneer to the wheel.
go for it tbh, a dream looking car looks even better in person. Consider amg look ;)
You can add it in your build at cost of course.
@Yankee Doodle ..The '22 E-Klasse models offer a wooden steering wheel as an option; Its $600. USD$
Is all E450 4 matic air suspension only?
No, it is an option called Air Body Control. It adds $1900 to the price.

It worked with no trouble for me.

am i the only one that likes the old traditional benz grill?
What do you mean when you say traditional? I quite like a lot of older Merc grilles. 70s era look is way cool to me, for example.

Thank you for that insightful ownership perspective!
Getting this car in a 2 to 3 years with little mileage, when the prices drop 30-50%
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Not the E-class made in Germany, remember it is a taxi in Europe. You are correct for every other MB model though specially the SUV made here in US.
The E450 comes in several body styles that was not mentioned. The coup and cabriolet models which comes in rear wheel drive as well as 4matic.
