    DAUGAVA LOKI NATURE PARK
    The nature park "Daugavas loki" was created to preserve unique natural complexes, natural, cultural and historical values ​​and peculiar landscapes that have not been transformed in the upper reaches of the Daugava in the Naujenes - Krāslava section. Daugava loki are considered the oldest valley formations in Latvia. Nature park "Daugavas loki", as part of the protected landscape area "Augšdaugava", was recognized as a NATURA 2000 area in 2004, and in 2011 it was included in the Latvian national list of UNESCO World Heritage.
    SUMMER GALLERY VIEW TOWER
    When you climb the 21 m high observation tower, you can see the landscape and the picturesque bends of the Daugava from a bird's eye view. From it, visitors can see the Rozališki bend of the Daugava river - one of the most beautiful natural scenes in Latvia, which once adorned the Latvian banknote - the 10 lats banknote.

    HIVE LAKE CENTRAL BEACH
    The Great Stropi Lake is the largest water reservoir in the city of Daugavpils, which gathers a large number of vacationers in the summer season. The central beach of the Great Hive Lake is awarded annually by the International Fund for Environmental Education (FEE) - the Blue Flag, which indicates cleanliness, safety and developed infrastructure.
    The territory of the central beach is well-equipped with various recreational elements - a pedestrian promenade for walks, which is illuminated during the dark hours of the day, an asphalt bicycle path, as well as an exercise area with outdoor trainers for those who follow an active lifestyle. Visitors have access to a free beach volleyball court, changing rooms, benches, parking and amenities. The summer cafe "SÅN Beach Club" operates here, where you can refresh yourself with cold drinks and ice cream.
    Visitors to the central beach have access to a unique lake pontoon structure, consisting of a "lake promenade" part, a 25-meter long outdoor pool with 4 lanes, a diving tower and a children's swimming pool, near which there is a recreation area with umbrellas and lounge chairs, the use of which is completely free fees.
    VIŠķU ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH
    Viski St. The Roman Catholic Church of John the Baptist was built in 1908-1925. A remarkable architectural monument of national importance, one of the few sacred buildings in Daugavpils region, which is built of broken stones and belongs to the type of one-tower basilican cross churches.
