I'm just getting started with my own mobile bartending service and your videos have been such a helpful tool in figuring out how to make this work, so thank you for your amazing content!
I currently don't market much (I plan to do more after summer). I have gotten myself as a preferred bartending service at 9 venues so that keeps us busy! I love it! But, I've also been doing this awhile. I didn't start this way. ... i started on Thumbtack and used to charge $25/hr! Hahaha I have grown tremendously as a business owner, a person and it's been a good ride!
I agree with the Thumbtack experience! They were great at first (and i mean great to get biz started back when i was like you...a box biz cards and a shaker set, LOL) 10+ years ago, but now I charge too much for their clients and they've raised their fees so much and started new weird rules yeah I just had to jump off that ship about 7 yrs ago.
I’ve had my mobile bartending business for about a year and a half now and wow let me tell you, I feel so heard and understood with what you go through in your videos because I feel it too. It’s a lot of work and some days I come home crying out of frustration because it was a physically laborious and demanding day. I want to quit some days but I’m grateful for the easy days that keep me going. Just like you, I load and unload my car every time. I’ve injured my back a bit and I’ve developed ankle tendonitis from standing for long hours. I’m almost ready to leave. This wasn’t what I had in mind when starting a mobile bartending business. I feel like if I had a male assistant with me at all times helping me load in and out while I handle the business side, it’ll be more doable. I admire your hard work but I suggest we both find a male helper so that we can keep on going ❤
It’s funny you say that. I just switched to doing exactly that. I’ll manage my business and bring on male help to assist with moving/hauling/lifting. I still have to do some stuff but it’s already showing to be a lot lighter for me. I really hope you’re charging in a way to where you are at the very least living a comfortable life. Putting yourself through all of that when you can’t even afford a massage (or other forms of self care) is not encouraged. 🥂
Yes there is plenty of people on you tube but your Chanel is so relatable you keep it 100 💯 we appreciate it

Yes.
Thanks for all this info
Does anyone know which licenses I need to get in order to operate in Texas?
I think part of the payment for employees is to at least help load the van and clean up..
They show up an hour early to help with any finishing set-up touches, help clean up at the end, and reload everything. 🥂
