Loved that spot! Do you ever go to the embankment off of Lockheed Blvd (on the other side of the runway)? And this video was proudly Sponsored by Walmart Supercenter Fort Worth parking lot 😉

I have gone to Lockheed Blvd but unless I have a good ladder, video shots aren't particularly good. The Walmart parking lot is much better in my opinion. Thanks for watching!

Question. Why do the exhaust nozzles expand on the aircraft when they touch down? Wouldn't they contract? Thanks.

To give you the short answer: it has to do with Bernoulli's principle. Essentially: when the nozzles contract, the exhaust gases (which is the fluid) go faster due to having a smaller space, and therefore less pressure. That means there's more thrust coming out with the nozzles contracted. Vice versa, when the nozzles expand, there's more pressure and the exhaust gases' speed decreases. Thank you for watching!

That anonymous unmarked 737 looks a bit suspicious. Is that used for clandestine extradition flights and suchlike, I wonder?

That is not the case, is a Boeing C-40A Clipper operated by the US Navy. It is mainly used for airlift missions, carrying both passengers and cargo. Thanks for watching!
