Great to see all this technology and innovation but sad to think that the shoes are still made in sweatshops with chained up fire doors. Guess you weren't allowed to ask about manufacturing?
Is there an advantage to wearing their shoes for any particular sport? If there is would that mean athletes who do not wear them are at a disadvantage?
Yes, there was an advantage in past olympics which is why other companies and athletes pushed for some of the shoes to be banned. There were literally athletes who were taking off their sponsors spikes and wearing nikes just because of the performance.
That is somewhat true but in reality for basically all cases there is parity nowadays - at the end from consumer PoV it is about the design and if one identifies with the brand. The same way Apple markets the watch Ultra with athletes but 99.99% of the sales are to normal people.
@@samyueldanyo8679 of course, majority of the advantages are only applicable to the pros. Normal people aren’t elite enough for to see that 1% - 3% difference. It still doesn’t negate the advantage of the shoes though, just means that not everyone can take advantage of it
I absolutely adore this video thank you so much. 🫂 Getting to see the ppl that makeup Nike is always such a treat. Theres a lot of problems at that comp[any but they are still the coolest thing to ever exist

Do you consider nike to be fast fashion? Same with mass producing, overworking and underpaying factory workers. What are your thoughts?
